Episode 1 of 2 - In this GrandMA3 Programming showcase, we are going to look at Thomas Koppers show file. It´s a very versetile setup that can do any stage lighting show.
Thomas is a very skilled GrandMA3 Programmer, and he takes the console to a new level. The amount of functionality he has put into his file is amazing.
He´s show file is very complex, and it can be ready for any stage lighting show in a very short period of time. The complexity of the file is the reason that this “Show me your GrandMA3 workflow” is split up into 2 episodes.
The use of GrandMA3 recipes is consistent thru the entire GrandMA3 workflow, and it makes is very easy to introduce new fixtures on site.
Thomas can do any stage lighting show with this show file, but in this video it is a GrandMA3 EDM show he will showcase.

Keep in mind most EDM LD's I've dealt with this summer have erased their show file after the set so I never get to view others work method. Totally understandable considering the work involved on their end. So I really appreciate Thomas being so generous with his info. Super kind and generous. Thank you! awesome channel as well

Hi, I know this is old stuff by know. Version 2.0 is out... I came into this video looking for other things and it is very nice, especially what you told about show controller. Really never bordered to watch other peoples shows before, but it is refreshing and I am going to watch the rest of this series as well. Thomas, I hope that by now you have gone more into the plugins tough. It´s so much to have just one plugin used by a a lot of macro´s then to have to write or copy all of these macros individually. Pm. me if you want o know more about this.

49:30 You can set a user variable to the current selection count by using the macro line "Lua 'SetVar(UserVars(),"SelectedFixtureCount",Selection().CountFullySelected)' " 😉

Ok great to see how he works but overly complicated for the sake of it.
