Our very first trip in our campervan. We had three nights at Prospect Farm campsite in Thornton Le Dale, North Yorkshire, visited the Bridestones and tried our new Cobb Compact barbecue.
Neatest BBQ I've ever seen. Perfect size for camping. Doesn't take up much room. I've never seen stones such as the Bridestones. Unusual names. I looked them up on Google and find that they were created by the glaciers during the ice age. Fascinating. Thanks for the great shots and sharing with us.
Second vlog was wonderful. It was superb to be able to join you on your first trip away. Beautiful scenery, fascinating Bridestones and great weather too. Wee Broon Maggie looked resplendant. Again, Keira stole the show - that's what dogs do though!
Well found out something we didn't know. Despite being from North Yorkshire and holidaying in the Pickering/thornton le dale area since kids were wee (they are now both in their forties) we had not only never seen the Bridestones... We'd never heard of them. Love Prospect Farm site, we were there in September. Next time we're over that direction (we now live just south fo St Bees in Cumbria) we'll have a new place to visit.. Thanks Tina, Bernie and Blue the border.
Hi Tina, sometimes you can miss things nearby, it has happened to us before. Amazing how fast the kids grow up eh? The Bridestones are definitely worth a visit next time you are back that way.
Love the vlogs, guys, but could you please ‘equalize’ the sound? Spend all my time altering the volume, deafened by the music, then straining to hear your voices! Apart from that, great job!
Thanks Doreen, this is one of our earlier ones, we were very much learning the ropes on how to edit and there was a lot of trial and error. Thanks a lot for watching, its great to have you with us.👍

Huge trees and huge stones. Just the sort of things I like. But most of all I loved the music.😊
Thanks, that was CZcams's own music that we used, glad you liked it along with the boulders.👍
