- The longest circuit race in Forza Horizon 5 which loops the whole map of Mexico, The Goliath with a fully upgraded 1319HP Mercedes-AMG One cover car in Unbeatable AI Difficulty. The Goliath is the grand finale for the Horizon Mainstage.
Played with keyboard.
For those who say in The Colossus, the AI lets you win at the end should play this. In The Goliath the AI becomes very fast at the last sector to the point where it is impossible to overtake.

I am actually shocked that the number of people who think this video is using autopilot/autobrake mode. This run was on Unbeatable difficulty, you can tell from the starting position. You will never win against AI with almost infinite grip by using autobrake/autopilot mode. There are so many corners you can take in Goliath full throttle which will trigger the autobrake system.
So for those who still think this was on autobrake mode, try using it against Unbeatable AI in X-Class, see if you win, check the brake pattern, then come back to this video.

And that's in MPH aswell. I mean, i saw the acceleration on that thing. And it seemed like every car was doing 0 - 60 in like .5 seconds.

AI deadass gets slingshot around corners in this one, I had a venom GT tail me at 240 around corners with the S2 998 version of this
meanwhile I had an ariel atom in X class tailing me at 250...
ended up finishing 4 seconds behind 5 AIs just because of how BS they are - heck, I even spam-rewinded and still didn't manage to beat them
man playing the ai can sometimes feel like you are playing in an online lobby against a hacker lmao. they don't have to worry about game physics.
The devs were really serious about upping the A.I because that Rimac races like a pro.
Tbh they just turned the Rubberbanding slider up higher than it was in FH4 lol its more annoying than anything

@@alolanstarboy My friend and I seem to find that the AI either has a PI boost or insane car control on unbeatable/pro. They will never really wheelspin on launch, can frequently take corners better than the player despite their line, and have a ton of more horsepower left to spare for top end speed/acceleration.

I think there is something more going on. I was in S1900 New Corvette on a sweeping right only to be passed by a Lambo Hurracan like I was standing still.
The Lambo was nowhere near me 15 seconds earlier.

4:05 this is pretty much what X class Goliath is, you’ll start to think “oh look I’m getting closer to the front” and then the car in front of you will take OFF
5:36 and here again they just hit the nos button and launch away from you
9:25 AND here again, you can see they’re already going 215+ and then the AI initiated the freaking hyperdrive launches away from him
You can actually see that the rimac infront is worse in corners but faster in long corners and straights. Its an electric car with no gears, nothing unexpected(especially considering this track is less curvy). Raced on unbeatable myself and yes its difficult but not impossible.
@@bobmartin5259 With an electric car the speed advantage should be inverted. Electric motors become less and less powerful the faster you spin them, and with no transmission to keep them in the power band, they quickly fall off past 150mph.
@@griffinfaulkner3514 well the rimac has 2 gears making it good for low and top speed. One of the fastest cars in the game if i remember correctly. But there goes much more into it ..
@@bobmartin5259 Even with that second gear, it's immediately past its torque peak and losing power. I'm honestly surprised nobody's hooked a CVT up to an electric motor to keep it at relatively low RPM, considering how hard EVs fall off towards the top end

the thing i like the most of this fh5 is that the race lines are the most important thing rn, in fh4 the tune was everything and a lot of cars actually die agaisnt others just because the tune was for straights or cornering.
at this point this feels like the f1 where you can have good tunes but the best race line or using a different one because of your config can make you win, makes me really happy.

I think it's mainly because all the cars are considerably grippier therefore you can juice more power without completely turning your car into a barge or a cow on the ice
I'd say it's closer to Endurance Sportscar Racing, specifically GT3 and GTE when the BoP is done well, the cars are much more even and skill matters more than the car. Even with the Sesto Elemento FE in X class sometimes it's not as easy as you'd think it would be despite how OP that car is.
I swear, the Unbeatable AI in this game are so overpowered they could probably beat an actual Formula 1 car around a track…
If anything, they may actually be more OP than they were in Horizon 4!

X5 FE aka a boat on 4 wheels with the aerodynamics of a brick,is capable of handling corners quicker than a Ferrari FXX-K. Unbeatable doesn't only beat you,it beats the whole reality.

The dude has honed his skill to an artistic level; imagine how good he would be with an analogue keyboard holy shit
I'm guessing he prefer keyboard over controller because tapping is easier than using analog to turn. He started playing really good with keyboard after he switched his keybind (it was like on 2015 back when he made Grid 2 vids) from WASD; to A/Z (for accel/brake) and arrows to turn.
I remember he said in one of his video comment section it took him some time until he found the right settings and sensitivity to play with keyboard in various racing games

Damn, the straight line speed on the other cars is insane
as soon as I saw the nevera I knew it will be the first place in the end and the hardest to beat, I mean that car in reality can do 1/4 mile in 8.6sec, that's freaking fast,. Even in reality. those pulls it was doing behind you like a rocket was so realistic and with that supreme AI driving , dude , that was so hard and fun to watch.

if you still think the AI isn't OP or rubberbanded then take a close look to that Rimac (doesn't even have aero upgrades, yet manages to beat 2 Sennas and take 90% of the road flat)
It clearly got beat in the corners but beat the sennas because it takes straights far better than them

Man that turn at 10:56 through the country is a B!! I was a long way ahead in 1st unfamiliar with the last part of the track, but I knew that turn was coming up somewhere. If you take it too fast, you cannot recover! Couldn't regain my rhythm after that loss. Will be back at it tomorrow though! Still only in A class here. Nice racing! 🍻

After several Goliath loses at expert difficulty (tried to do clean race and no rewinds) I finally won but I've noticed AI wasn't as crazy as at my first races. Is it possible AI getting a bit slower after several tries at same difficulty?
