Fellow NH native here. I discovered your channel through the blue Terminator and started noticing that the scenery in a lot of your POV videos looked familiar. It wasn't until a few months ago when you uploaded a video in which you travelled through Hudson NH (on the circumferential highway I believe) that I realized you were local-ish. I drive to Hudson pretty often and while I know you don't actually live in town, I still keep an eye out on the nice days for your cars whenever I head that way lol. I see you made your way up to Winnipesaukee, which is in my neck of the woods. One of these days I'm sure I'll spot you somewhere 🤘🤘

Beautiful ZO6 Chris, my only complaint is that the Z06 has basically doubled in price from a high 60k car with the C6 generation to low to mid 100k car in 11 years, this has taken the "workin man" out of contention
The base car is basically as good as the old z06 though…. Plus it’s the way everything is… hell you can’t even eat at McDonald’s with a dollar anymore. We keep on letting the government get away with fucking us though …so 🤷🏾♂️
I hear ya but try to buy any Ford sports car. The GT is over a million. The new Mustang GTD is $400,000 . Chevy is the only maker making cars worth a dam. The Camaro ZL1 1LE is a great starting point

Way cool & classy. You’ve got great taste in class when it comes to setting up a car.
Side note get PPF as I have it on my 16 ATSV and it works. they have a track pack that does hood and trunk down. I got that and would suggest whole car, I know its $$ but I got a chip on my roof line at windshield connection. My car is 1 of 900 with Crystal White Matte Tintcoat.
HorsePower Obsessed has full PPF on his and showed recently how it saved his car from damage as it took the impact of a exhaust hanger that fell off his buddies car i front of him and hit his front splitter.

Definitely made the right call with the tint. I didn't even think of the heat issue with the rear window. Even with high quality tint, I think it would be an issue.
I know you deal with winter and snow, but here in Florida I would already have 5k miles on the Z06. My dream car!

Gotta have some level of tint on that back glass for the uv protection. If you haven’t, do the windshield as well. It’ll really save the dash board 👍🏻 that side window tint looks beautiful with the black trim, well done Chris!
First mod should b a seatbelt upgrade, As of June 11, 2024, General Motors (GM) has issued a recall for 13,464 2024 and 2025 C8 Corvette models due to faulty seat belts. The recall notice states that the driver and/or passenger seat belt retractors may lock in a stowed position, making it impossible to wear the belts correctly. This could increase the risk of injury for drivers and passengers. GM does not currently have the parts in stock to make the repairs, but dealers will make the repairs free of charge when parts are available.
Tints look really nice. Glad you kept the rear hatch stock. Makes sense that you would want to be able to see the engine.
Hey Chris: don’t forget to add the Radiator Grill guards to your C8. I went with Scrape Amour brand. They fit like a glove and look sweet.

Color looks good but the new z06s definitely look better with the bigger track wing.
Cruising up in the white mountains and Lake Region is the best especially in the spring time when traffic is low. The Kancumagus highway and Bear notch are some good roads. Glad to see the Z06 out. Also always need a cold snack while working on the car.
I did the mudguards on my Mustang as well for the same reason. It would get peppered in that rear area all the time. After a detail he left it so clean I though it’s a must .

I hear from Jessi Iwuji and C8z06RWD that the solar dual throttle bodies and controlers are dope adds hp and tq plus throttle control is off the charts. The venturi intake also adds hp/tq and looks.

Entered a busy parking lot 2 days ago with my 2022 Sierra 1500 AT4X. It's full PPF'd. Parked beside this contractor truck. 30 seconds later, a kid runs up to the back door of the truck beside me and whips the door open hard into the side of my truck.
PPF saves the paint. I'll never not PPF after that experience. I agree with not tailgating, tho
This is why I always park way way in the back haha. Full PPF is nice but $$$$

Having a friend with a 24 Z06 It doesn't look right without the Z06 Spoiler it really needs it. It also makes it not look like a regular vette. Also it does provide down force. Im shocked though all had the spoiler. Guess i was wrong there.
I need a set of those splash guards for my Cadillac,they look good & function! Beautiful blue on that, you'd think you'd see more of them that color!

also something else you could look into doing chris just a thought is an insta360 X3 or X4 to attach to the outside of the car to get behind the car shots etc.

Also, not sure I 100% trust that front splash guard. Just PPF the rear rockers, front bumper, roof, and mirrors bro. Definitely worth it. Not a big deal, and the only thing you'll kinda see IF YOU'RE UP CLOSE to it is the rear rocker "line" like you talked about. Well worth it for a 6 figure car IMO. I had PPF on my old 98 supra and boy was it a relief. As you could imagine I was already nervous about driving that car and parking it around other people, but it was soooo worth it dude
Bro now it’s time to put some High Flow cats on it. Your mind will be blown. It is a must have for the C8Z06.
I would still get the lower part of the rear quarter panels PPF. I have a Z51 with mudguards and the PPF has saved my paint under the doors and rear quarter panels.

The best mod to do is defiantly the throttle bodies, don’t waste your money on the eventuri, just wait for k&n to bring the replacement filter later in the year. I did my throttles feels smother and quicker.also don’t for get to do you break burnish / break in

This solidified me into not tinting the windshield. Your headlights are always on now because the sensor isn't getting enough light to switch to just DRLs.

I took mine straight down to a shop and had the entire car covered in PPF, went 45% tint on the windshield, 20% windows. Also installed the guards from extreme. My issue is, I live on a dirt road. The rocks are terrible.

No need to reply to this post--The open hole in rear is for air flow to reduce lift as air would normally get stuck in there and cause issues. With flow through no lift or turbulence

Beautiful car I love that color. Need to take this on the Kanc but the amount of traffic on there in the summer can screw up any spirited driving. Used to take my CBR up there in mid May and was like having my own private race track before all the tourists ruin it

Try aircraft "erosion" tape for those impact surfaces. You can trim it to size as required.
