Thank you for not trying to sing during your tutorials, it makes them infinitely more watchable. You’re the man
I would never do that 😂
Best lessons on YT at the moment
agree
Thanks!! 🙏🙏
Guitar player here. Just starting to play the piano You’ve made it soo easy for me to transition to playing piano with your tutorials of classic songs (I’m 50 btw) great teacher!👍
Excellent tutorial, thanks for breaking it down into logical steps like that, it really helps, cheers 👍🙂
Fantastic tutorials, thank you!
Awesome. Thank you so much. I'm a self taught player and I had learned in another key. This is definitely the best. Very grateful
This was an excellent lesson! There are many YT lessons on Your Song but you have managed to do what noone else has done so far. You broke the song down into the underlying chord voicings and then went into detail about the arpeggiation. By doing this, it is much easier to learn and memorize the song. I appreciate the work you put into this tutorial. It would be awesome if you could do tutorials on some of the Elton John songs for which there are no good tutorials on YT like Take Me to the Pilot, Burn Down the Mission, and Amoreena.
That arpeggio learning style would also be appropriate for the "Tiny Dancer" intro as well.
Uh oh....Pierre is going Hollywood on us with the fresh haircut!!! Thanks for another amazing lesson!!
I was hoping you'd eventually talk about this song. Great content as always! 👏🙌🙏
Once again your attention to detail has shown me I have been a little more “random” 😂 playing and singing this song. These are nice small details I have missed in past!
Love the channel Pierre!! I'm a huge Hornsby/Elton John fan, so you are right in my wheelhouse!!!
Been playing this for years, and still learned so much from this beautiful tutorial.
Great tutorial! Thank’s a lot - very helpful! 😍😍😍
Excellent work!
Thank you so much Pierre. This is one of my favourite songs and I've always wanted to play it. Superb lesson, as always.
My pleasure!
Excellent teacher. I can do this! Thank you!❤
Great tutorial! Thank you
Excellent!! Ty!
You are a fantastic player and instructor, thank you, I have now learned this song!
Thanks so much!
Amazing! Thank you so much!!!
Wonderful.
Absolutely, beautiful!!
Fantastic lesson. This is the kind of format that actually teaches you the song and I certainly hope you keep making them.
Excellent!
Beautiful chords and very clear explanation. Thank you.
This is great thank you, looking forward to giving it a go!
Thank you so much for your tutorials, Pierre! They are just so helpful and fun to watch, you have such a pleasant teaching style.
Thank you!:) great lesson😊. you made this song so much more accessible than other lessons. Would you consider writing down chord charts that line up with the lyrics? And maybe write down the fingering for the chords.
Great lesson. Love your energy. Clear instructions.
Your a great teacher!
Always something learned which is a good thing! Thank you
Love this tutorial. Your teaching style is awesome.
excellent, thanks a lot. I'm new to piano, but between lessons like to learn songs I know (very slowly) cheers!
Great lesson with Elton John ❤….Love his music 🎶 and would love to see many more from him as well🎹
Very good instructions! Please do Candle in the Wind? Cannot find anyone that can teach it well..I would really appreciate it.
So far I like how you teach
loved this tutorial -you know music
Really clearly but great way of teaching the songs. Concise video. 5/5🎉
Yesssss !
I'm noticing Elton - writing in several keys and modes - - - a lot of his music has a Bossanova flavour.
Thank you for great lessons :) I also would like to learn "Sad eyes" by Bruce Springsteen, a fairly simple but beautiful song.
Great teacher, Great. Song but definately not. For beginners 😂 your keyboard has Great sound May We know what brand and modèl Thank you for sharing your Amazing talent ❤
I use the Yamaha CP73.
Ser, Piscitelli can you play Rossana, the syntiser part and piano solo at ending part, and make it tutorial and do it in very slow motion& thank you! Appreciate it.
Great tutorial. Could you do a turorial about Sad Songs, live version?
You’re the kind of piano teacher I’d send my child to…
Man! If I would have had a piano teacher like you back when. . . . I've been a formally trained (trumpet) musician since 1973. In 1978, I began "noodling" on the piano. I used everything I knew about music theory to "fake" a lot of popular songs. The problem? My fingering was . . . not good. I have, over the years, either in college, or by a private teacher, taken piano lessons. That was somewhat successful. However, to this day, I'm still just playing the chords and faking it. If I have a chord sheet, I can hold my own - - - but. - - - if someone puts sheet music in front of me, it's gonna take me a few minutes to translate it into chords. Is there any hope for me?
👍 😎
👏👏👏📽️🔝
This is very cool, thanks Pierre. I’m still struggling to work out the intro even on min speed. Is the any chance you could spell out the fingers for the arpeggios? eg Eb 1253 Ab 1253 Cmin 9 12542 I think :)
They are going to vary depending on the individual, technique and size of your hands. I would follow along with the video and copy my fingers slowly, making adjustments if what I’m doing feels weird!
Can you do some radiohead songs?
👊👊👊

That shape G Bb Eb G is quite a stretch.
It is 😅
Apologies for them comments ...oops 😊
I wish I knew how to get you more views on your question and answer video. I loved it. I'm afraid you will avoid that format in the future. I want to know more. I know you already covered perfect pitch with Beato, but you should do your own episode about it. You are probably sick and tired of talking about it but a lot of us are very fascinated. Just do a really good and thorough treatment of it, then forever more you can say "I did a video about it. Here is the link." I'll bet it would be a steady view earner for many years. Tell us your top 100 favorite songs. You don't have to play them, just tell us. Also, tell us who you follow.
I was just looking at the jump in views you got when you did the Rhodes and DX7. I think you are on to something. I'm not sure if your plans include getting sponsors, but if higher views are enough, I really love unsponsored opinions on gear, but I would understand if you were holding out for a sponsorship.
Thanks for your hard work. I look forward to your drops.
Thanks for this-- very thoughtful and insightful. As the channel is still pretty new, there is going to be a fair amount of trial and error. Some videos are smash hits, and others fall flat. It's a normal part of the game! I'm just doing what interests me, and what I hope will interest others. I'm always taking suggestions and ideas. Thanks again for watching!
Everyone always does the obvious Elton songs, maybe you can break that trend, there are no tutorials for Elton's Lucy in the Sky or Pinball Wizard or lots of his deep cuts. I do enjoy your channel though.
