JD has built a reputation for squeezing owners by making DIY repair more and more difficult -- grab the customer by the balls. It's all in the name of "Praise be to the almighty Shareholders" (customers "forced" to pay dealers big $$$ for repairs). JD prioritizes short-term profits by alienating customers and trashing the John Deere reputation.
I just bought this minibike at Lowe’s sight on scene this weekend, I haven’t even ridden it yet. It just looks cool.
Ego is killing it! I’m so happy with my EGO arsenal but, I do want a core aerator at $1000 price point.

The modularity of the batteries makes so much sense allowing for flexibility as you move through the day…
They need to fix the lack of pass through charging on the 2000 watt inverter. If they fixed it , I would buy it then.
What they need is an updated model, with 3000W, pass thru charging, updated USB ports, etc. This model is getting a little long in the tooth.
Nobody ever sit on the minibike it’s always up on a platform, so I still don’t really know how big it is.
Do they plan to make a street legal motor bike or even a bicycle? I have a the ego snowblower stn 2416 but in the summer i would like to use the 10h battery form something useful.. like a bike

Especially appreciate EGO creating a more user friendly and encouraged troubleshooting and "fixes". Too many times it's a simple technical problem which most of us "could" handle. Thrilled at the comment the EGO rep makes at 8:00 minutes in. Excellent direction and because of the engineering forethought, it should be very doable for most of us.
Is there a way to mount packout boxes on the back for overnight trail rides and stuff?

I’m happy to see a shop vac.. now if we could get a backpack vacuum for commercial cleaning, that would be great!! ( for long hallways in apartment buildings, and other large commercial offices..sometimes plugs are difficult or impossible to get to)

Ego needs an upright vacuum for the home. Dyson is overrated.
60 minutes for a 9 gallon shop vac is insane. And 3200psi for a battery powered pressure washer is very impressive
only 1.2gpm tho.
@@foam27 Agreed. I'd rather have less PSI and more GPM [for auto detailing]... at least 2.0-2.3 GPM. That's why Kranzle and Active, among others, are currently better than the EGO's.
I have several ego products (they are good) but one of my two 7.5ah 56v is dead, other is just ok. They just turned 3yrs old. The one die after 2 yrs. Battery quality is important and the technology is still lacking (no consistency), and add to that an Ego replacement is at a minimum $400 each. If you have a tractor that that takes 6 batteries, you’re talking an additional $2,400 just to keep it running over the years. I’m looking to purchase two more batteries $800+ minimum just to run my little snowblower and a leaf blower a couple times a year. So, I have to make that hard decision to continue to invest or get read of everything Ego. However, I do like the simplicity, reliability of electric motors and I wish I had that dirt bike as a kid or maybe I need it now!

EGO is awesome. They really thought of everything.
The only thing I wanted to comment on is the Vacuum Wheel Lock. Couldn't they implement a one pedal lock.
Those tiny locks are an annoyance, sometimes the lock hides beneath the machine.
Heck, make it cover 360 degrees for easy reach foot pedal.
Razor minibike is 22mph and 15 years older since release....😂

I had a catastrophic failure with mine. The impeller shaft only turns about half way then totally jams. Im guessing the transmission has failed. Ive been on the phone for over a week with non technical idiots. They are trying to void the warranty because I took the impeller assembly off. Had to escalate the case two times and now they want me to drive it 3 hours to a repair center. Im thinking about just parting it out on Ebay. Just ordered the green works from Costco. Comes with 3 batteries and at least Costco will stand by it. I've seen bad reviews on the green works brand too.
They should make some sit down snowblower attachment for the lawn mower
I grew up with a 1970s GE Elec-trak that had a 3 blade mower deck and a beast of a snowblower you could swap out. Great traction in winter with all the battery weight.

It's not a suddzer, its just a nozzle tip that is a zero angle. 15,30,45 and 0 are typical nozzle sprayer tips.

I own a lot of ego tools, but what I want to say is that ego's lawn mowers are of poor quality, the control circuit board has a high failure rate, and it can't be started in less than two years when used at home for non-commercial purposes. If you do the math, you will know that the lawn mower costs about $600, which is enough for you to hire someone to mow the lawn for two years, and you don't have to do the work yourself. The other tools are good. Another disadvantage is that the battery life is also very short. One of the 2.5ah batteries can hardly be charged. The 7.5ah battery can still be used, but the capacity loss is very obvious. In summary, if you buy ego products for relatively low noise and no maintenance (oil change), etc., you can choose to buy it. If you want to use it for a long time, it is recommended to buy a gasoline engine.

Can you jail break the bike to do more than 28. I know 28 is to keep big brother out of it.
It's not street legal so there would be no reason for them to put a speed limiter on it. A non street legal electric bike without pedals wouldn't fall under a 1, 2 or 3 classification in the 1st place.
Big brother doesn't care what you do on you're own land with one of these. I would also guess the motor isn't going to be super powerful. A Suron costs like $5k and goes 50. This won't cost anywhere close to a Suron so 28s actually a pretty good top speed
