She's insane. You can tell the people around her aren't just coaching her through the motions, she's learning the why (she's either asking the questions or they're making it a point that she understands). Either way, it's just so endearing to see.

Hearing her say she eats a lot of candy (7:00) made me feel really good. Lots of times kids like this are forced into it by their parents and they never allow the kid a moment of joy, but it was very clear that she truly enjoys what she is doing, both by her energy while doing the lifts as well as the encouragement and teaching she gave to Will along the way. Truly inspirational

with these types of kids, they can have parents on the opposite ends of the spectrum, one side being controlling like those beauty pageant parents or support supportive while still pushing them to their limits in a positive way, admittedly the line between the two is thin and difficult to maintain without slipping to the other side sometimes. very typical when these types of kids grow up and tell the world about their trauma. just because she has some candy doesnt mean everything is hunkeydorey, but hopefully it is

She lifted 135 cleanly but his 190 would have failed as he pressed it up. Shows how much is technique as opposed to muscling it up. "Discipline" actually means to teach🙂,it's not being mean or anything inappropriate like that.Healthy childrearing is a balance between showing your unconditional ❤️ & applying discipline as needed and you tailor this balance to each individual child based upon their unique temperament/needs.Beware of ANY adult that meanly says "I need to discipline you!" to kids under their care,yells/screams at them,etc...That is NOT actual "discipline" & those are psychologically &/or physically abusive types😬.Too many people get it twisted & 💭 that discipline somehow means being mean, out of control, using brutal punishments, etc.
