The ring finger bit at the end was huge for me.
I love how in depth this tutorial was compared to the fontaine one. It would of been cool if you mentioned the creator in the intro.
Thank you, I'll be sure to mention his name next time. It completely slipped my mind while recording (a lot slips my mind while recording lol). But I made sure to put his name in the description :)
Trust me he doesnt need more fame, plenty of it has gone to his head
@@mr.citrus2614 That's no excuse not to credit someone
Great toturial. Thanks 👍
Cool, thank you!
Very nice tutorial :))) help me a lot. Thanks
I like how you explain it. Very cool👍
Very nice move CM, well done
I think this is the best of the Judo Flip tutorials I've seen on CZcams however (and this is NOT a criticism!) I think it wouldn't helped a bit IF you have an assistant, to also shoot OVER-THE-SHOULDER, from the Magician's POV. That actually applies to ALL Magic & Cardistry effects. Many Thanks, you're an Excellent Teacher!
Thank you! really appreciate the input, I’m working on doing the POV in future tutorials 😊
Great! I know realistically it's easy to just throw out suggestions, but actually setting everything up to do it is tougher, and requires an extra person/assistant/ but it's amazing how many Magic DVDs I've purchased in the last several years, from nationally known magicians too, where customers are paying $20, $30+ or more ... and it's just one step above a guy sitting at his webcam! And the worst part is, the difference between Grade "C" production values that are "okay/acceptable" and Grade "A" production values, where the magician/tutor actually put some thinking and effort into it, may be be just a few hundred dollars.
In one I'm watching right now, the magician (Greg WIlson who I otherwise love) regularly performs before Fortune 500 companies, , etc, and has now put out several DVDs where the lighting is actually sub-par, and it he's simply stood in one place and talked to what looks like an early Pixelvision camera that a child would use! And he's not alone in this.
So I've never quite understood the thinking, especially for people who are demonstrating close-up concepts. No one cares if it's just one person talking to the camera & giving their opinion, but I've always thought, if you're planning on being on CZcams for a while, why not make a one time investment and while some may not, hopefully enough people will appreciate the time and effort, and that way, like the channel "52 Kards" - - (( which had some of the simplest but nicest clear cut over-the-shoulder production values for his card tricks w. a bit of Cardistry thrown in, he's now garnered enough viewers to make a full time business of it) ) viewers WILL see & appreciate the effort.
So I think there are always people who will appreciate the extra effort and that will keep them as potential long term viewers.
Best judo flip toturial. Well done Thanks
Thank you!
Really good tutorial👌👍
I reeeally struggeled with the fontaine tutorial
Glad I could help!
Thank you for such a detailed tutorial. I can finally do it - sloppily - but I can do it because of all the information you provided. If you could do one for this random move called "castiron" I would love it. Been trying to figure it out for a while but it's only video (no audio) and I can't figure out a few parts.
Great tutorial! took me a month but I finally get it :D BIG TIP: make sure your spin doesn't touch the side of the deck at all or it will start pushing the deck
Thank you! And yes for sure
This helps a lot in my journey to do cardistry thanks!
You're welcome, glad I can help!
The losing portion with the ring finger feels like the creator just kinda phoned it in at that point lol. Something about it seems...incomplete. It's such sweet move though when you get is smooth!
Nice tutorial. Helped me a lot I'm only a beginner
Thank you, I'm glad it helped!
Yeah buddy! I could never get this one without dropping that bottom packet. Your vid helped quite a bit i have it down pretty fluently now! Thanks!
You're welcome!
This is actually better than the Fontaine tutorial!!
Wow, this is a move I will have to really improve my flexibility and comfort to learn. Lol And I thought the scissors cut was a bitch.
Hey im abit late on the Judo Flip bandwagon. I thought this was another video of a guy stealing views from the original tutorial, but this was such a in depth tutorial, far better than the previous dude. Right now im struggling due to inflexibility i guess but i'll practice. Thanks alot bro. Keep up these good tutorials.
Thank you!!
@Ethan Cross okay imma be honest here. You reminded me to practice again. Havent practiced since the comment. We got this Ethan!!
nice move pal😉
Thanks dude!
Wow
I'm struggling at the very begging. 😄. To get the thumb to the bottom corner. Did you just hold this grip for long periods of time or did you actually have to keep attempting?
After about 2 weeks of practice im struggling... Having trouble clearing the larger packet before turning the smaller pack.. Any tips... Been holding the deck in the position using my pinky and ring ringer to try and get used to it
Sorry for the late reply, I would recommend to keep practicing what you’re doing. Also while spinning the smaller packet, make sure that it’s flat, parallel to the ground when clearing the larger packet. That should make it a little easier to clear that large packet. Hope that helps!
How long did it take you to learn it as Im struggling, I can get the card over but keep dropping the rest of the cards that are in my pinky and ring finger, I will master it though as I never give up, great tutorial by the way
It took me about a week of constant practice to learn, and by constant practice, I mean if my hand was free, I was practicing! You'll get it down in no time!
I can do it but it looks tough to do it smoothly or fast
Over the skoulder iseasierr to follow - but a good explanation.
I can't get the small packet over how can we do that?
I have the same problem...any luck?
If you could get a friend to shoot OVER-THE-SHOULDER so we can see it from our actually POV, it would be more effective, but thanks anyway. I upvoted you.
I definitely agree, if I made this video now, I would’ve definitely done the POV
Anyone here after CM’s Judo flip in 1 min?
very nice tutorial but my hand are in destroy xD
How long did you train for that?
It took me about a week of practice to get it to this level
Thank you😊
Good tutorial but i think in other perspective i Will understand more clearly
It's so hard for me to get the packet to clear the top of the deck...im crying
My pinky dying doing this (small hand struggle)
nice tutorial! way better than the original
Thanks man, really appreciate it!!
Just do it over the shoulder it's much easier
I can't get the first packet around.....
Keep practicing, I'm sure you'll get it! Took me some time also
i think my hands r too small
@Rksalad Salad they aren’t
