=AD= How can Signs Express help you stand out? ✅ hub.efixx.co.uk/signs-express-van
I always remember a plumbers van I saw where there was a picture of a toilet where the driver was sitting. Was quite memorable for sure!
Wrapped my van last year, cost me 2k, 2 weeks later someone walked past my house and called, 5k kitchen renovation. From then on, it's not even been a year, has generated over 10k worth of closed business
Great result - thanks for sharing 👍
Any time i have had a sign written vehicle, it has cost me more in damage repairs and lost tools from being broken into than it did bringing in revenue .. joys of London .... QR code works 😁
I think the best way to sign up the van is to stick all over with interflora so nobody wants to break into it. the ladders and pipe tubes on the roof might be a give away though.
I would recommend hiring a graphic designer first to create your company image as a whole package, where you have logos, website, colour palettes commissioned and which can then be applied to your cards, social, letterheads, clothing, van graphics etc so it’s all uniform from the start. Just start with a logo it can be used anywhere then.
QR Code is a lovely idea people from the apartments can see the QR code and business info too.
Make sure you change the van colour on your V5c Document 😉
You forgot the 'How's my driving sticker?' so busy bodies can ring up
😂
Really handy info, ta 😁
I agree with everyone else, I would love to do it BUT it'll just attract thieves.
Lovely job
Thanks Brian
If you have a garage or somewhere safe to store the van then great. But if you work away from your van, do night work, or basically look away for more than 30 seconds, you'll lose all your tools (speaking for London anyway)
Even with car alarms?
Find it more important to not have the van broken into and tools stolen than being an ambulant advertise.. work comes from many other places like website, neighbours, existing customer recommendations etc etc
I think the small strip on the numberplate holder might be a good place to brand. You notice it in traffic not as much when parked.
A beautiful van is admirable but it can attract "idle hands" . sadly .
I think the idea of magnetic signs is great if you operate in an area with a lot of vehicle crime.
put tel number. I see a van for a trade of interest and photo it. can ring while still out. worked three times this year, roofer, aerial & oven cleaner as local number.
You can get to the roof qr code from the video >
Is that an Australian Sparkies Van in the thumbnail?
Is it really that powerful marketing wise? I go on recommendations not van liveries and it just advertises that the van might be worth breaking in to.
I see far more photos of plain vans that have been broken in to than signwritten ones. I think the whole "signwriting makes you a target for thieves" thing is a total urban myth. Also, my signwriting has generated tens of thousands of pounds worth of work for me over the years just from people seeing the van around and either taking my details off it or approaching to ask for a business card. It's paid for itself many many times over
Insurance companies ask if you have signage. Does having signage make a difference to the cost of insurance?
How much would a full wrap cost?
I know a bunch of plumbers and electricians who will never advertise on their vans again having been targeted by thieves. IMO those who advertise on their vans are asking for trouble, its wrong to think like this but with these little Herbert's stealing tools and the old bill not giving a hoot is why.
Sign written van NO THANK YOU ! It says " I have tools inside please rob me " and insurance is significantly more expensive. Plain nondescript colour is best. Disappear into the traffic don't attract attention to what you could be carrying. 🤡👺🐔
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Red paint always fades and looks awful as it ages. If red is your brand colour, wrapping might be your best option
QR code works but didn't give me a big bag of goodies!
Try it again tomorrow!
big advert for theft
Calling card for thieves. Also why spend money having your van wrapped in vinyl, why not just buy a red van , and isn’t it cheeper to have it resprade / painted ? And use magnetic signage that can be removed when the van is not being used?
*Sign written vans equals break ins.*
Fuck vans..... use estate cars .Take in only what you need for a Job.
Pop round an see us - we need a lift with a reel of 120mm sq armoured cable and ladder racks. 😂
That’s me now and a few others I know in London, pointless having a van more agg than what it’s worth.
@@efixx You get your wholesaler to deliver.
Sign written van is a magnet for these low life scum that will break in and clean it out in a couple of minutes, you would be better spending the money it would cost to beef up the vans security even more , sign of the times I'm afraid...... 💩
