Cinematic Color Grading (MOVIE LOOK EFFECT) In Photoshop - Comprehensive Photoshop Tutorial

  • Photoshop tutorial showing how to apply the cinematic effect to your photographs. The cinematic effect that we're going for is the teal-orange look, which is a typical movie effect in action movies.
This effect gives the dark shades of your image a cool teal tone, while the light shades take a warm orange look. This makes the actor stand out since the colors are complementary and creates a "pop" when put side by side.
It is a good idea to do a color correction on your image, so you that it has neutral grays and no color cast.

I've watched numerous video's on color grading that explain how to use one or sometimes two methods. This is the only video I've watched that explains how all the different methods are equivalent. I also really like the way the video goes from real cinematic examples to in-depth techniques. Excellent! Thanks for making this available.

Wow that was super useful and informative! Almost 90% of the tutorial videos on CZcams have either flaws with recording quality, silly loud music, or the narrator simply spending half an hour repeating the same thing over and over or losing track of where they were all the time. Not here thank God! You're precise, organised and to the point.. even the side subjects about colour correction and shortcuts are very good because they relate to the main tutorial subject. This is quality stuff!! Thanks man, I subbed you and plan on watching more of your tutorials :)
