I always love that scene because it makes me think he’s just some worker they put a coat on 😂
Springfielders can see nanoscopic things such as atoms and flu germs, but Homer thinks he can slip candy past Apu.
Germs and radioactivity being visible is among my fave Simpsons conventions. They didn’t invent the concept but they made the most of it.

I Remember a lot of them from my childhood
Was there, every sunday after the football, after a roast dinner with my family, great days
They were first aired on Sunday nights at 7 p.m. on Fox. It was The Simpsons followed by Married with Children followed (later on) by In Living Color.
That Sunday lineup was a great distraction from the thought of school the next morning.

I don’t because it was social conditioning which was very very effective in leading people away from God because when people are entertained and amused they are disarmed and let their guard down and can be more effectively propagandised and manipulated to perceive the world a certain way and through a certain aperture that this world which is beholden to the devil would want you to.

I can’t believe they canceled Apu. Ridiculous. He was beloved by all.
As an Indian I am really sad it happened, losing apu and supermarket seems like we lost 10% of the show, its a frequent place they visit just like Moe’s bar.
The only person who got Apu cancelled was Hank Azaria. All because one guy couldn't take a joke. Every character on the Simpsons is a stereotype, Apu was no different.

I liked it when the Virus was crossing the road and sneaked up on Chief Wiggum, its also foreshadowing Covid 19. Also if you travel on holiday and a pick up a cold from a foreign country and south east asian ones are actually the worst to have no kidding, they take ages to fight off.

The lisa scene of her tripping out creeped me out as a kid before you know what drugs are and what they do seeing it in cartoons would give me a weird feeling
Fun fact: Given it only takes Homer about three seconds to eat a slice of cheese, he should only have been down there for about 3 minutes and 12 seconds.
He slowed down, rested and else because you could see the chiss made unspeakable things to his mind and body
Honestly the idea of having to sit there and slice by slice eat 64 pieces of American cheese, is like something out of a horror movie. That sounds like an immoral form of torture some psycho would commit
that's not a fact lol it got progressively harder after each slice plus he was half asleep
I imagine there are periods where he's out of it and sweaty and slowly regains the ability to eat another slice
