WHAT AN ENTRANCE I LOVE IT!
Florida has no true bedrock other than sandstone varieties. It's basically ancient sand bars and dunes that have piled up. You'll find terrestrial fossils in certain areas/downstream of them, but oceanic ones are LITERALLY EVERYWHERE if you dig deep enough! All of Florida's been under the ocean at some point.
Protip: After a storm, esp hurricanes, you can easily go fossil hunting along the beaches here and find a couple things.
Search in the little dip where the waves break onto the beach.
Pro-est tip: Some local fossil clubs work with our many phosphate mines here in FL, where they strip down the land to the layers where the ground is -just- made of shells, fossils, etc sandy detritus. They take groups out to these places to pick through a patch of land for a day and take home whatever you find!
You can see giant clam shells as big as your hand completely full of calcite crystal, by the literal truck load. I have a 5gal bucket full of perfect shark teeth. (One Megalodon tooth, covers my hand, but no adult-sizes yet.) Over the years, I've found fossil crab claws, and Pliestocene-proto-horse teeth, a woolly rhino tooth, a big dolphin ear bone, shark vertebrae, a big section of whale tooth, croc tooth, dewgong ribs, and a narly serrated venomous snake fang half as long as my finger. As well as the countless shark teeth and ray 'tooth' plates. Once, I found a pile of 6 extremely rare species of large black scallop, two of which are on display donated to science.
Seriously. Join a fossil group in your area. There's unique ancient treasures out there, covered in dirt, that not one other person on the history of the planet has seen or touched. Go out there and find it!

This is Rock Springs in Central FL! I grew up coming here, I live about 20 minutes away. Super cool spring!!
This is my "go to" fresh water spring in Florida. Such a tranquil and awesome place. So many fun times here. Found $50 floating down the rapids one time.
The hand medallion is the Hand of Midas, it’s usually on religious jewelry. The hole in the middle is where a evil eye bead is suppose to be.

There is an underwater memorial in Arkansas for SEAL Team 6 Operator, Adam Brown, who passed away during a fire fight. It would be cool if you made a video of you diving there!

On quiet days, in addition to the deer, you can sometimes see snakes, turtles, alligators, and wild turkeys. Once, I had 2 otters swim beneath my float! I've yet to see any black bears but they're said to be in the area as well.

I wish the three off you would realise that the best treasure found is your friendship I love you’ve videos when the three of you get together the mix is brilliant I know you’ve got your own individual channels but keep the content you need to do a yearly finds video even stuff you found individually it would be really interesting. Keep it cool and keep it coming love you all.
Someone probably already mentioned but that medallion piece that you like at 10:14 is called a Hamsa. It is a symbol of protection and brings good luck to those that carry it!

The medallion you found is called a Hamsa...these protective amulets would have an eye in the center of the hand which wards off the evil eye. Hamsas are found in the middle east, especially in Orthodox, Jewish & Islamic cultures. What a blessing to find one! Mazel!!! 👍🙋✨🔯✨🌊🆒👊

Also, Have you ever thought of getting some search and rescue training, as you are valuable when you help in that area. it might be worth getting some real training to learn the safety aspects.. You seem like such a natural at it... and you are such a kind person. :))

I found a place like that in Palm Beach County.my boat was small enough to scrape through a drain pipe from a lake and there it was.i never bought shiners again because that place was loaded up with them.there was no land access to it only through that pipe.

10:30 is a Hamsa. It's a Jewish and Muslim religious symbol. For us Jews, it's suppose keep evil eyes away. I'm not sure what it does for muslims. Like crosses, we have necklace and bracelet pendants. Wall decor with blessings for home on them. People also make keychains as well with blessings on them as well

This popped up the day before I decided to go to kelly park. I grew up at this place.
,I live near rainbow river near Dunnellon fl, it’s gorgeous too. Be careful of alligators though in any rivers and lakes here. A guy was snorkeling at Alexander springs and a gator bit him on the head.

This spring (Rock springs) is near wekiva springs....its like a big circle and you can dive down in the huge hole..another beautiful sight..
I live 2 miles from Rock springs (I love it)❤ never seen gators up by the head (Top) of the spring..its the coldest piont....
But they have a place up the road called kings landing🤫I don't think I ever been..🤯 mind blowing..Right..? Lol
Some body got an arm bit off at wekiva island she drunk because they let you drink ..and was not supposed to be in that part of river..canoes only.
Wekiva Falls ..stinks a bit due to sulfur.. and is deep& not clear..
