Tushan Jing is able to embrace and comfort her whereas the demon chooses to make her laugh to comfort her. Though she loves them both, I can see why she chooses Tushan Jing. He does the hands on. The demon feels everything she feels with his heart as they are heart connected but because they have different paths and cannot be together he keeps a distance physically when compared to Jing. His love is so intense but even he is afraid of allowing himself to embrace it for fear of losing himself. He uses humor as a defense mechanism and did so also when he was flirting with her as the other identity. He will use humor and/or sarcasm rather than fall into her completely. He even became angry once when she talked about wishing she had rescued him because he almost lost himself. It would be a sort of death for him I think. The anger was probably more at himself for almost losing his purpose. I feel I understand him in some ways and he breaks my heart. Tushan Jing will hopefully be able to give her what she needs. Someone who will make her the greatest priority and never abandon her for some other cause.
Now I'm not saying what Xiang Liu did was cruel, but for Xiaoyao to accept the truth about her parents, she had to see and understand the truth for herself. As hard and as cruel as this scene may be. Watching this I wanted to cry with Xiaoyao because learning the truth about your parents and why they did what they did isn't easy and hard to accept.
This pretty much answer her question, “why”that she asked before. Like wanting to know why Xiang Liu chooses to stay with Chenrong even though its an inevitable death. It seems to be the answer for her parents and Xiang Liu reason.
One thing about Immortal Samsara that I really liked, were the 2 episodes dedicated to telling the story of the parents of the ML. I would have liked to see that in this drama. I can only use my imagination as to how intense the emotions between her parents were, and much won't come from that since I just woke up ten minutes ago. 😅😅 Other than that, I'm glad Xiao Yao received her closure. ❤

What happened to this drama?! Are they really downplaying Jing for XL sake? We got three panels of XL at the hut, but they couldn't spare a few seconds to show that Jing was outside, listening to their conversation and waiting for them to finish? Not to mention that the words originally spoken by Jing were changed to XL lines! So many scenes got cut out, no wonder chinese fans are raging. And YaoJing is only the beginning, plot is all over the place, the characters are suddenly acting without any reason at all, no wonder it only got 6.6 on Douban(the fist season got 7.8)
The first season was perfect. The only confusing part was the random magic and random magical items, that doesn't have a strong presence like other dramas, like Ancient Love Poetry, and Ashes of Love. Like, WE KNOOOOOOOW the magic is strong in those dramas
In the beginning, they were saying how much more handsome he was than the rest of the cast, and despite how cruel he was in the beginning, they still shipped them. I think their reasoning is more superficial. Rather than assess the characters and decide who she will be better off with that suits the carefree character she portrays, they rather ship Xiang Liu because he's handsome and steaming hot. They say she has chemistry with him, but I like to think she has chemistry with each male character because one can actually feel and understand her feelings towards them and their feelings towards her. We can see how comfortable and uncomfortable she is around them when it comes to intimacy,not just friendship. And the only person she has given her heart to is Tushan Jing. In the beginning, he was the only man who didn't mentally or physically abuse her, before the pregnancy scare,but we learned that it was all a set up and the baby wasn't his. It's only right for them to be able to rekindle their flames. I just like the fact that he was the only one to treat her with respect as a man and a woman. He's more than deserving of her love.

LOL Tan Jianci's own eyes are full of drama, he is able to interpret all emotions just with his eyes, he not only managed to portray the cold and domineering character of Xiangliu but also the free and cheerful Fangfeng Bei. He understands his roles thoroughly, and he succeeds in every role. In essence, fans like it because they know the standards of good acting and character. His love is very simple, he protects and gives everything silently, without asking for recompense or recognition...that kind of love is far from worthy, on the contrary, Xiaoyao is very lucky to be loved by him. He may be cold and cruel, he doesn't want Xiaoyao to really love him deeper, because if one day he dies it will make Xiaoyao very sad so he always breaks her heart. Xiangliu already knew his limits and what he had to do.
