When trading with leverage do you have to pay for the future quote. For example if I wanted to buy I micro lot of eur/usd. And the exchange rate is=1/1.3442 I would be buying the 1000 of the future quote price so I would be paying 1344.2$. But if Have an account size of 100 and I had a leverage 1:10 would I only pay 1000$ instead of 1344.2 or how does the is leverage really work.

You explained it a lot better im the section titled Leverage and Margin where you actually showed examples and how to calculate from your real balance and not the leveraged/margin balance. Now only if you can show a few examples from beginning (selecting the pairs, to figuring the strategy) to end (closing/selling)

At 26:17 you said that if one wanted to risk 10 pips of Stop Loss using 1 USD, it would be necessary to control 1,000 units of currency. I didn't understand that math.
In the last example, if you have 200 pips at 50 cents each before you blow your account, why not use S/L to risk no more than 10 pips or $5 per trade instead? That’s still 20 chances to make profit and grow your account, which is a lot if you’re not taking trades back to back.
I get leverage understand the concept. 19:42 of the training is where I start to get lost. Micro lots 1,000 @ .10 got it. 3000 micro lots costing .30 got it. How does any of this get me to a 10pip stop loss? How much is each of the 10pips?
You're a very good explainer. I'm wondering, though, once the money 3% or whichever percent is taken from your $100 account is it gone (spent) never to been seen again regardless whether you make a profit or not?

hmm I am a complete beginner but I think that the "lots" are the count of the all the lot types. For example u have a standard lot, u place 2x standard lots u will see 200 000 unit size. beacuse 1x of a standard lot is 100 000. Idk if its true but I think its like that.
its ur account balance times the leverage. for example 1:30 leverage and u with $100. that means that u have (30x100) $3000 of buying power that u can spend on the market.
