You can just tell Kurt had a great love for this song. I sometimes wonder if not putting it on an album was a way of keeping it more personal. My favorite Nirvana song since first hearing it back in '99.
This is in my top five solos of all time...forget about technical playing. There is real soul in there. Straight from the artist. The Man Who Sold The World from Unplugged is still my favorite Kurt solo of all time. Maybe just solo period.
First heard this version in the "A Season In Hell" Italian bootleg box set. An Amazing Concert - the amount of enthusiasm and fun the band had playing is clearly evident! Oh for video to surface!! This version of one of my and Kurt's favourite Nirvana songs is amazing!!!
A perfect soundboard recording of this performance would make a hit single today. Stain, Verse Chorus Verse and other songs from this show is also all-time great live performances.
he had a unique thing about his voice in that the most important quality for one of his songs to have for it to be a good song was how well it highlighted his unusual voice and not if it was actually a good song. This is why when other people sing Nirvana, unless they have almost his exact voice, it sounds horrible.
Nothing strange about it. It goes from largest denomination to smallest, which is logical in ordering. I write them like that but with a four-digit year.

They didn't like the sound of that song until they recorded with Steve Albini in 1993. That's why it was an outtake from bleach and Nevermind
I used to collect grasshoppers in a jar with breathing holes and hid them in a laundry room in the early 80’s.
@@Giova590 but why it was outtake from In utero?
@@aleksandrmalkov9974 Because they weren't sure about adding jt to the song list

You are absolutely right, this song is his own laundry. Best Nirvana solo….
though, david bowie wrote that solo, soooo... Not kurt's.

Great performance of Sappy at one of the band's best ever shows.

Chad channing sucks
Не обижайте его. Чед Ченнинг написал почти все партии ударных для Nevermind. Грол лишь повторил их, и стучал при этом сильнее, вот и все.

why is there such a strange way of writing months, years and days in the USA?
