Look inside America and Country Sad Ballad Man. Two very underrated songs. On your Own a great song as well. There isn’t one shit song on Blur’s self titled album!
I’ve always considered blurs self titled a rare occurrence of arguable perfection, every song carry’s valuable weight that balances the album not one snoozer
Two of their most under-appreciated songs done brilliantly. What a great band sounds like! "Annie Hall leaves New York in the end; press rewind, Woody gets her back again." Albarn=Genius.
Pablo Di Iorio Song 2 was a parody of American garage bands and ironically became Blur’s most successful song in the USA. Chinese Bombs is sick as well
The one person who disliked this.... you have no soul. An exquisite performance of Country Sad Ballad Man, I remember this featuring on a documentary at the time and thinking 'wow' - thanks to whoever uploaded :)
funny how in the comments people are actually discovering On Your Own bass line...in the music video commment section people sometimes say the song doesnt even have bass, and I always end answering they are deaf
This disc is when it shows that blur is better than oasis, implying that they are a group that can do different styles of music and an incredible way, which never knew oasis do STAYING always stuck in the same style .
lol i noticed it too... also, Alex sings with a chipmunk voice in "Alex's song", a b-side from End of A Century... it's actually a nice song, and also funny hahah
I really like them acoustic. Their 1997 self titled album Blur is really good. I love On Your Own. The acoustic demo of it is great. I learnt how to play On Your Own from the demo.
the amazing bass in on your own must be alex’s revenge after the original song doesn’t have a baseline and also this is like the first time actually “singing” lmao he knew he was killing it
Blur are officially the coolest band ever. They sum up everything that makes me feel good. Fucking love them.
They really made the 90's wonderful.
That bass line for On Your Own is so brilliant
i'm officially addicted with this band.
Will u marry me? 😌
@@alexandersosa0762 Good luck, brother.

Graham is so smiling.
Camila happy boi
yeah...it's so rare to see him like that
Great live performance. Love all the songs on this album.
even those that seen made as a joke, they end up sounding cool.
Pablo Di Iorio Song 2 was a parody of American garage bands and ironically became Blur’s most successful song in the USA. Chinese Bombs is sick as well
@@hydra4251 those 2 were the ones i listened to when i was 14 and bought the record.
took me years to get into the slow ones, even beetlebum.
Pablo Di Iorio Beetlebum is the greatest ever Blur song, in my opinion of course 🎧
20 years and still loving this band. I was fuckin heartbroken when the band broke. now im confident they can make music for the next 30 years more.
Country Sad Ballad man always reminds of me of Rolling Stones, circa 1968.
You remind me of Rolling Stones, circa 1968, mate, if anyone does...
I think Country Sad is Blur's most underrated song.
so true, but sad they didn't end the song with the coolest solo...
@@daysie It's acoustic so, understandable I suppose. There's a really good version on here from Madison Square Garden.
@@srodgers66 o yeah that is true, I will take a look! Country sad is my fave from the album tho
I found a acoustic version on Spotify where they do the solo ieieie
The bass line on On Your Own though
Alex James is a criminally under-regarded bass player.
nerdbot37 you’re a criminally under regarded bass player , mate, if anyone is...
That's the coolest band in the world. The right guys in the right band, all four of them.
1997 blur is the coolest

I bet it was Oasis who disliked it 😂
Love Look Inside America.
So american and optimistic, my favourite song of Blur.
Augusto Pinochet It's quite the opposite of being optimistic towards America. Which is precisely why it's such a brilliant song.
Augusto Pinochet I didn’t know Mi General was still alive and loved Blur! You’re a hero for saving Chile from the commies.
funny how in the comments people are actually discovering On Your Own bass line...in the music video commment section people sometimes say the song doesnt even have bass, and I always end answering they are deaf
The more I listen to them, the more they sound like Bowie .. awesome :)

Love these acoustic sessions. Makes me appreciate the composition and the arrangements even more...and the vocal harmonies not to forget.
i really love look inside america, it feels like a stream of consciousness so it’s very raw, the feeling in it feels very real
we can all agree that GOOD MORNING LETHARGY is an amazing phrase to start a song
i honestly didnt even realise alex was singing back up until someone pointed it out to me lmao, he's so sweet!

These 3 songs are one of the best of Blur. I really love On Your Own
This is gold... just... gold.
Really strange see damon playing normal chords in a guitar
Hahaha it's true, it always caught my attention that he used the same position of the MI chord to make the other chords
