I'm just a kinda old lady from Florida who is dying to know how to do throat singing. 70 yrs old & wanting to learn, help me guys.
You could start by researching videos in search bar. Good luck with your journey to throat singing, it’s addicting and so much fun, and helps build up your lungs too, but I have to say you may get strange looks from your neighbors, I know I do... but that’s my neighbors problem. Just have fun.

@@sandi21515 for me, throat singing came even more easy after my vocal cords were cut, (my ex back up guitarist lashed out cause he was a jealous psychopath and couldn’t stand me leaving the band, and since I would not date him... ah... TMI and I’m just babbling on... sorry bout that), anyhow... although I grew up singing with my elders from all over, so singing came natural as a kid to learn. As for my neighbors, since I can open both my vocal range at the same time, they (my neighbors) think I’m evil or demonic or alien. I just laugh and ignore them for their ignorance and idiocy.
Try checking out tutorials and such, or in shower start with making funny sounds and then feel the vibrations from your though area. I find it’s easier by practicing making bullfrog sounds resonating with chubby cheeks then move sound down to throat area... but that’s me. As for breathing exercises... breath and exhale from stomach and diaphragm area. After frog sounds, move onto a chant or indigenous song for warm up, and overall get creative. I hope something of this response is helpful for you. Truly it is a lot of fun, and also has healing frequencies as well at certain tones. I’d also like to thank you for a quick reply back, I wasn’t expecting a response, but it has made my night, thank you. Please do let me know how your singing is coming along, and if not, I understand. Life is like that, it’s busy and it goes by so fast. Well, have a wonderful Sunday and wish you all the best in your aspirations in throat singing.
