Not discussing salaries might be a contributing factor to why they in general are so low in Spain. It's an important factor in ensuring you're being compensated right. There is a big difference between bragging and being transparent so everyone knows what is a fair salary.

En América, es considerado maleducado no dejarle una propina al mesero porque los meseros no ganan suficiente dinero para mantener una vida estable, sólo entre 2 y 3 dólares cada hora. Los meseros dependen en las propinas.
Los españoles son exactamente como yo.

En filipinas, cuando encuentres un pariente mayor tuyo (por ejemplo, tu abuelo), deberías decir "mano po" y después poner tu mano en su frente. No hacer esto es mala educación. Además, la palabra "mano" en los idiomas de filipinas no significa esta parte del cuerpo, sino este verbo para esta conducta de buena educación.

In the old days, a man would open a door to let a woman pass through first. People, irregardless of gender, sometimes still do this in the US. I think it’s a nice gesture. Here in Wyoming people give a small wave to people when they pass from opposite directions. This is done in situations where traffic is extremely light. But Wyoming is rare-people won’t understand that in most parts of the US.
Reading about that Wyoming waving thing is so weird when you are from Germany. You would instantly be seen as a weirdo or thought that you have forgotten who the other person is. We would do that only if we know each other.
I guess Germany is really kept to themselves there in general, the least noise you make, the more courtesy you have I guess :D.

El tema del dinero no es de mala educacion .Otra cosa es que exista gente que insista en este tema.Al final les llamaremos pijos , nuevos ricos ,o simplemente estupidos .Por que los que presumen de tener dinero , nunca saben si con la gente que hablan tienen mucho mas que ellos , pero son mas humildes y no lo anuncian .A veces es divertido esto
