    These look really cool, but a little too expensive for anyone outside the military. What are these actually for, anyway? Is it for shining on really far away things that you're looking at with binoculars or something? Is it supposed to be a weapon?

    • @QTechX
      @QTechX  Před 3 lety +1

      The Acebeam seems slightly more powerful with a tigher beam but until you can 'zoom out' these flashlights have very limited applications!! :)

    Would it be illegal to use this in a defensive situation? I could see this being an excellent blinding tool (which is why many people buy tactical lights in the first place). But since it says to not shine in someone’s I’m afraid this could come back to hurt a user if they end up in court

    • @Second_Opinion_2

      I'm guessing legal reasons, I just bought the Fenix tk30 because I couldn't get an Acebeam. In order to purchase the tk30 I had to download sign and upload a form saying I understood all the dangers and legal ramifications of this type of light, It wouldn't surprise me if Acebeam is avoiding these issues all together and it wouldn't surprise me if the w30 was still available to fire and rescue or some other type of government entity
