Wow, love how you and Mike take a chance and do funky bottles like this. The olive oil/pink peppercorn/melon sounds wild, and the youth certainly must help accentuate that. I was gifted a fantastic K&L Wines store bottling of Dailune 10 year old cask strength from 2nd and 3rd fill sherry casks two years ago which had notes of vanilla bean and melon and was similar in color to this Glenlossie. Like you, I thought for sure it was a mistake and was bourbon cask derived at first glance but I guess off beat freaks do exist here and there! Cheers, and thank you.
Never had an Glenlossie or heard of the bottler. Crazy color for a sherry, but I've come across the same thing with another indie bottler myself. I'll keep an eye for them. Great review.
I've tried several younger Glenlossie IBs that really shine, but have been more cask forward. Still very bright and fruity, but the oil expressions on this sound interesting. Very cool and I hope to try. Cheers!

I have 2 bottles cask strenght Glenlossie from James eaddie and Signatory. Love Them. Reminds me of old School bladnochs. So fruity and complex.
