I have a jacklyn:) I keep the soil moist. I feed it w every watering. I wash all her leaves once a week. That's it. So far knock on wood no pest issues. Had it since August.

Yes I have an alocasia Jacklyn and I spray it down once a week with soap and alcohol solution and water it then. I hear they do well in a self watering pot.

Jacklyn: yes, they have spider mites on and off. I wash mine with Castille Soap every 2 weeks, and spray it with a pesticide the other 2 weeks. I keep mine in PON with a shallow nutrient reservoir.
