I love these brooms! A couple of decades ago I worked at a Chinese restaurant and we used these types of brooms. It would sweep rice off the carpet under the tables! It gets up into corners and along baseboards so beautifully! They have picked one up for me when they travel every few years since then because they are my favorite at home!

As a gift one year he gave some to my mom’s mother and now she always has both too they’re very nice, she likes specific ‘cobweb’ western brooms and ‘hens whisks’ and the viet floor brooms and hand broom. Living out in the country gets messy got to say loaded 👍

Don’t let your landlords bully you 😅 basic household tasks can’t be forbidden, even at night, just think of shift workers… you just have to keep your windows and front door etc. closed.

Exactly! I hate the sound of vacuum cleaners, once I get my own place I’m exclusively cleaning with a broom and dustpan. It’s not like vacuuming saves you that much time either, it’s just a waste of electricity.
This is an unspoken rule in the UK too and I'm a night owl so have taken to using a brush and pan to clean my carpet. It's surprisingly good, but the vacuum definitely helps for smaller dust particles.
