THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I was about to hire a professional to figure out why I have low water pressure after my water heater install. Whew! You just saved me probably hundreds in a home visit from a plumber. You’re Heaven sent. God Bless you!!!
Your vey welcome, I hope this helps fix your problem. Thank you for watching and commenting.
I had low pressure in the shower and nothing in the kitchen or bathroom sink. I did what you did and found lots of debris on the screens, lots of pressure now. THANKS!!!
I am glad to hear my fix was able to help you out. Thanks for watching and commenting
That was my issue too. I just took out the screens from the faucet heads and cleaned them and I was good to go! Thank you!
Gald to hear it was an easy fix. Thank you for watching.
Thank you. All my faucets had a lot of black residue/debris after I serviced my water heater.
Excellent troubleshooting. Very methodical and so clearly described. I will use same techniques for my present problem.
Thank you for your positive comment. I hope this will help you in your trouble shooting. Thank you for watching.
Thanks. Saved me having to call the plumber back who had already charged me a lot for the emergency pickup, delivery and install of a new hot water heater on the day after Christmas to replace the 17 year old one that died very inconveniently on Christmas Eve.
I am glad i was able to save you some money not having to call the plumber back in for this really simple fix.
Thanks a lot man, it spooked me when I turned on the faucet for hot water and the water literally sputtered out
Your welcome i am glad the video was able yo help you out.
Thanks for watching.
Great video! Helped me out a lot!!
Your welcome i am glad my video was helpful. Thanks for watching.
This was my exact problem and the first thing I would check because it's the easiest to check. Thanks for the video. Weird part. Not the closet sink to the Water Heater. But it is the closest sink to the main water supply. And yeah, a hard to thing to Google Search.
I am glad it worked out for you. Thanks for watching
Any time you turn off/on one of the shut off valves for a toilet or sink faucet, and especially if you do any kind of work on a water Hester, you can basically guarantee you will send sediment throughout all of your aerators. Check those first. Easy to do and often the cause of your low pressure issues
This was exactly my issue! Thanks!
Thats great, Glad my video helped. Thank you for watching!
I hope that’s what it is… thank you so much for taking the time to inform… I’ll check that next…
I hope this works for you. Thank you for watching.
@@TDLDIY It ended up self regulating over the next couple days, after I replaced the Thermopile and thermostat. Idk, water is not always easy to understand! Lol
@@demarriotryail2627 I am glad it worked out for you. Yes water can be hard to understand for sure.
we just drained our water heater and replaced the anode rode yesterday. just noticed that the upstairs bathrooms lost water pressure at the faucets. going to try this asap!
Thanks!
Thank you for your support!
Does this apply if all of the faucets start out low pressure?
Thank you help me out just now
Thats awesome to hear, Thanks for watching
After I drained my water heater no problem with cold or hot water anywhere except kitchen cold water running normal but hot water is really slow, any idea what I should do is appreciated
How did you end up fixing the issue I’m having the same problem
This happened to me but the faucet is brand new. So there has been no build up. Currently an unsolved issue
Check all your faucets on the starting with closest to the hot water tank. Just unscrew the part that holds your screen run the tap and clean it out. my house is fairly new and I had some build up due to the stuff in the hot water tank.
You need to unscrew screen at sink
for mine yes i needed to unscrew it. I would image most are similar to this.
TLDR... unscrew the stupid screen - spare yourself 10 minutes of over-explanation and a whiney kid in the background.
