If you want to improve your French fluency, specifically your fluency in spoken French, one of the best things you can do is practice, practice, practice! The more you listen to spoken French, the more likely you are to understand it.
Today, I thought we’d practice together. In this video, we’ll explore some of the most romantic places in Paris… but my descriptions will be entirely in French! That way, you can practice your comprehension and test yourself to see how much you already understand.
Then, we’ll go over some of the French vocabulary you heard that might be unfamiliar to you. Be sure to make note of any new words you learned, or anywhere you realized you had the wrong pronunciation.
Did you learn anything new from today’s lesson? Let me know in the comments!
    Take care and stay safe.
    😘 from Grenoble, France.
    Géraldine

J’ai appris du nouveau vocabulaire: “Main dans la main”. C’est simple, mais je ne savais pas l’expression exacte. “Trépidant(e)”, ou peut-être “une ville palpitante” (d’activité). “La Ville Lumière”. J’avais tort de penser qu’on dirait “La Ville de Lumière”, (comme en anglais). Merci Géraldine pour cette nouvelle leçon. Au prochain samedi.

Kind of spoils it by having the English subtitles even the French subtitles!

You don’t have to look at the screen - just sit back and listen, unless there’s something you don’t understand. Or just focus on her mouth and don’t read what’s below. Simple!

Also, she repeats the whole thing with no subtitles, so you obviously didn’t watch to the end

There are a lot of beginners here who are grateful for them and others who aren't such beginners who have learning challenges.
Gérardine is creating a kinder world in doing this
I think it is the most important thing to do in life.
