Nice to see Yangyang getting some love
Probably the least talked about character currently. Jiyan has an all in one spam kit with damage and grouping and Jianxin has superior grouping + a good outro buff so they both kinda stole Yangyangs thunder early on. That just made me like Yangyang even more than I already did lol. I like the sleeper picks.

the fact that this game allows us to use almost all the characters as dps is really cool. I have a lvl70 team of calcharo yinlin and verina but im running mortefi danjin team its so fun lol
It's great. I have yet to play a character that didn't feel unique. Looking forward to future additions and unique outro or skill mechanics
This is one of my favorite aspects of this games, I've been running a Spectro Rover, Yinlin, Jianxin Team and Yangyang, Sanhua and Verina Team. I have no idea how they synergize but I just have fun fighting the world bosses with them (Haven't really tried the Hologram version's though)

Main thing that seems to be her weakness is enemies that move/smaller for her stationary hitboxes.
It's definitely a problem for her. Anything that ignores the draw in makes her harder to hit DPS windows without losing buffs or whiffing completely. Heron, Aix, and Mephis all move around A LOT and the Monkey straight up resists aero. I like the added difficulty on myself though. I like earning the full tornado with all the buffs still ticking lol.
@@BrixyXI Doesn't seem like too much of a problem, doesnt that mean you would play her like any other dps? Calcharo, Lingyang, Encore, Jiyan, Havoc Rover, Jianxin etc all still need to time their attacks to make sure it lands on those fast bosses, and her Resonance Lib doesnt last very long, so you get the dmg out quickly.

Finally I see more content with Yangyang! She is adorable. And pretty too, just like Jianxin. May be she is not as strong as Havoc RV, but her kit timings really comfortable to parry attacks, get infinite forte and unleash her POWER!

jinhsi banners comes with yangyang, danjin and sanhua as 4* rate up, so surely you can get some more copies of her
And it's perfect for me, since I really want Jinshi to be my main character and Yangyang as her sub dps 😍🥰

He is different. I haven't really had a chance to try him much yet, but he seems interesting enough. Looks like a good off-field dps sort of character, similar to Mortefi.

I also liked Yangyang a lot and I got kind of bummed when I saw her so low on the tier list. I will try to build her when I get more resources.
She’s currently my sub-dps with moonlite set. After I got Jiyan on the last day, it disappointed me to see that Mortefi isn’t fit for him with my playstyle. Yangyang though, she can be Jiyan’s outro bearer and energy source for Jiyan to safely keep his liberation.
Mortefi can use Jiyan’s outro but it’s super clunky to do so, and Verina seems to kinda waste her forte bar for no reason, so Yangyang is the solid option.
just got w6 yangyang and came to the conclusion its finally time to start playing her this video made her seem really fun

0:55 Just to remind, Concerto (Con.) energy is nothing like Resonance (Res.) energy. Concerto is the thing used for Intro-Outro while Resonance is used for Resonance Liberation. ☝️🤓 btw, the low base atk + low atk scaling in the kits that make people think that she is a support. But remember guys, every resonator can be dps if you dodge well 👌👌👌

Aren't the multipliers in Sequence 4 and 5 just adding to the original multiplier? Like 400% scaling turns into 485% with an 85% damage boost sequence.
I have no idea how it works, genuinely curious. I just thought it would be too much of a good thing if it affected total final damage like the 'deepen' effects.

I really want to build up secondary characters like Yangyang Danjin and Taoqi but I've already built five others and Jinshi is coming so it feels like I'll never have extra resources for them...
resources are a little rough at the moment. Getting the skills up takes a couple of days worth of materials alone.

Good to see ppl catching on yang yang. Imo between grouping on her skill and ult and her energy donation shes really s- tier imo. Definitely higher than say calcharo. for quick swap nergy donate brings her up to s tier
People are really sleeping on the energy transfer. It definitely smoothens out some transitions for characters that you may not want on the field long. Mortefi comes to mind for me as I used Yangyang for him early on to spam his liberation with her heavy attacks. A lot of people are looking at outros as a form of damage multiplier and ignoring how much time you save by getting characters off the field faster.
exactly. i tried it with baizhi but she's not that great sadly. would love to see verina though
been playing for weeks now, still using rover, yangyang, baishi...i never pull anything yet
Very good decision but you might build a 2nd main dps to clear ToA for the rewards
how powerful is an s6 yangyang? xD compared to the current 5 star dps characters?
Gotta give this a try. I have a pretty cracked set of Aero Echoes on my Jiyan. I gotta grab that crit sword from UL 50, and get her a crit damage 4 slot monke though
Are you running double aero on your moonlit set or does your Jianxin have some energy regen 3 costs?
Double Aero. Yangyang is the energy regen on the team. Her outro gives energy to the next character.

how bro? how did you get the 5 stars turtule with healing bonus? all the one I have is either purple, or not the healing set. this driving me crazy
Kill a turtle then go kill dreamless, kill the turtle again and keep rotating. Bosses are on a 2 pity system and currently the turtle and dreamless are the only calamity class bosses so they share a pity pool. You can get a turtle pretty much every single kill this way.
@@BrixyXI Doing Dreamless in lowest level saved me some time and got a 5 star echo, I guess Data Bank level is separate to the item rewards.

depends on the team comp I think. Jianxin works well with mortefi's liberation and her charge attack. Yangyang can definitely front load more damage than Jianxin though.
Are you going to make it for others characters? I really need an Yuanwu DPS guide

Now that I saw that damage nah her S6 is gonna make her a fuckiong monster. ur doing 21ks without the waveband that increases its damage? isnt that basically gonna be 40k on the last hit?
Somewhere around that number depending on how it's calculated. S5 is 85% damage and S6 adds 20% attack to every character. My echoes could also be better than what was currently used in this video.

I agree yang yang is fun sadly I had to stop building her at the moment since I don't feel she doin enough damage to justify my limited early resources. she without RC and focus buff on her kinda sucks with low multiplier and long animation.
"con. energy regen" isnt the amount energy u get back for your ult, it is concerto energy regen for outro/intro skills 😑

How did you remove the stance bar shatter effect ?
Not sure what you mean. The Heron has a unique gimmick where it goes into a shield mode when it's close to shattering if that's what you mean.

I don't think she is underrated it's just seemed to be very difficult to get her wavebands for her to shine since she isn't in any of the featured 5 star banners. Despite me losing the Yinlin 50/50 and having to go max pity I still only got 1 waveband for her meanwhile my Yuanwu and Aalto is almost maxed out. Also since she also uses the sword most people early on the game won't have the spare resources to build her if they also want to use Rover.
I wish I had enough resources to build my favorite B4 character but I'm broke.

She kinda flew under the radar because of Verina being as busted as she is. Jianxin makes for a really comfortable character though with her charge attack melting casual content and her easy parries. Best of luck to you!

The 4*s currently right now are sleepers due to the fact that they are being overshadowed by the 5*s
But the thing is the 4*s have it easier to max out their Sequences, some get their dmg before S3 some after S4. And what's good on Yangyang and Sanhua's S6 is that they don't need their ults to buff the team with +20% atk instead just using their forte.
Also niche players are the ones using the 4* most since a lot of players go with the flow on meta teams which is sad. Lingyang having a shitty kit because of his long chain of attacks to maximize dmg and Aalto having low dmg is kinda sad tho.
Hopefully if ever they implement an augment or module system to fix the weaknesses of these 4* Resonator it'd be nice
Found some dude who mains Lingyang C0 and casually beats lv80 hologram world bosses with sanhua in his team
@@JnPie Yeah game basically turned 4*s into more niche gameplay than the 5*s. Considering their track record with the 3rd Gen A-Ranks in PGR, im hoping WuWa will follow that route with fun gameplay
@@feralchimaera99 I think the 4star characters in WuWa are more casual compared to A ranks in PGR tho cuz S ranks are just wayway better when competing PPC and WZ leaderboards for better rewards unlike the 4 stars and 5 in WuWa is like it's just a small gap like the gap between 4 star and 5 star characters in WuWa is about the Skill of the player who is using and complex gear builds
I think you're misunderstanding concerto energy for resonance energy. They're different.
Resonance energy is what you need to cast Resonance Liberation (ult), while concerto energy is what you need to do outro skills.
0:53 what she (and any other resonator) recovers is concerto energy, not resonance energy. Also Variation weapon (the one you use on Verina) recovers concerto energy, not resonance energy.
You are correct. I got the effects mixed up somewhat a few times. I wish they would translate a little better because all of the stuff runs together currently with very similar terms.

YES! I honestly hate using Verina lol. I only got her because it would have been a dumb choice not to grab her. She reminds me of Bennet from Genshin. I never really used him either, but he was an extremely meta character.

I think better use her as sub dps, more efficient because low energy cost, pair her with jiyan or character with high energy cost

I play her by spamming heavy attack and feather release. Coz my substats are trash and have a lot of heavy attack damage.
UPD: managed to bring my yangyang to a 54.5%cr and 233.4%. But she's only s1 coz I have a s5 sanhua now....

Yangyang is pretty much a single waifu in WW i sorta like. As usual, when i choose by taste, it'll be always a weakest character.
Similar boat lol. I usually end up picking the lower tiers as well. My main character in super smash bros was Zelda, and she was bottom tier. In genshin it was Keqing (she finally popped off when they added dendro years later though).
@@BrixyXI Oh yes! Im a big fan of Keqing! And im still play her a lot. I never accepted dendro, so i play her with Bennett as in good old times when green goo was not present. And she still very enjoyable. Nice to meet another lightning girl lover:)

I am forced to use Calcharo since YinLin has a lot of synergy with that Sephiroth look-a-like
but I use YinLin on field a lot so I can enjoy her animations
