Yamaha TS Manager. Downloading and Installing for Linear Motion

In this lesson we are going to download the Yamaha TS Manager software. We have done all of the programming of our Linear Servo System in our Allen Bradley Compactlogix PLC using Studio 5000 until now. There are some very good features in TS Manager that we will look at now.

Great Video Tim!. Here is a secret a lot of people miss. You can go into the AOI EIP tag name, and find the "Config" area buried inside. You can actually have a mirror copy of the points data in your PLC using the "Read" and "Write" and "Index" controls inside the Config area of the tag. Change the index to "1", then toggle the "Read" bit to retrieve all the data from point 1, into your PLC for example. Keep in mind that the Array table is defaulted to 10 which means points 1-9, but offline you can expand the UDT arrays if you like access to more than 9 points. Then once you do this, you can use the included Panel View template to read and write to the point table without TS Manager software.
