So i was there during the rally in emerald avenue, and there were actually overall 137,000 people there💖 Break Free, with a message of resistance and reclamation, was just such a fitting song to hear during the event. 🥺💖

This was during a political rally supporting presidential candidate, Leni Robredo (the only woman running for the highest position in the country) in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. This was not just sang randomly. They're singing "Break Free" because they want to break free from tyranny, corruption, and bad governance all in all. They're fighting for a better and transparent governance for the next 6 years of our lives. This is also a rally against another possible Marcos regime since the late dictator's (Ferdinand Marcos) son, Marcos Jr. is also running for presidency.
These people want to break free from incompetent and fascist leadership and do not want another Marcos to be back in power.
