- Back to our favourite beach for this one; and there was plenty of goodies to be found! The weather was finally sunny and beautiful too. I hope you enjoyed seeing these shells as much as I did; I particularly liked that little freak dwarf cowrie! So cool!

Wow, what beautiful minis today. All the different cowries, the mini one was just cute as a button. I think the smallest one I have seen before. Live the stripped mouthed periwinkle. I love the lines, and it reminds me of a Hebrew cone just different shapes and lines instead of little blocks of black. The discrepant venues, limpit, dove shells, orange miter, trumpet, crowned cones, the acorn barnicale is very nice. I like the operculum. I know I have not said much about it, but they are very thick and white. The ones I see people get in Florida are brown and thin. If you put it up to the sun, you can see the sunlight through it. The leafy oyster we very nice today. The hinged and single one. These are just so many lovely ones I know I have missed. Thank you for another wonderful shelling adventure today. G'day Toni 👋🏻💖 I really hope that the mini pile comes back in force later; I just love sitting (because I'm sitting, haha) and looking at all the goodies that are hiding in plain sight! Don't get me wrong though, I love looking through the rock pools at low tide as well. That Periwinkle was really cool; there are heaps of live ones around the place, but a nice empty one is always few and far between. I'm so glad that you liked the Hebrew Cone, Venus, Mitre, Dove Shells, Trumpet, Cones, and Operculum; they are all wonderful patterns in my opinion!! Oh wow, thin and sea-through operculums are really cool too!! I think that the Sordid Moon Snails at Hervey Bay have thin brown operculums that you can look through as well... so maybe those Florida ones come from moon snails, rather than turbo shells with their thicker ones? Not sure, I'd have to research it! Also glad that you liked the Leafy Oyster today, I wonder what I'll find next time! Beautiful shelling day today! Such a nice variety! ❤ My favorite today was the periwinkle shell!!! So pretty. Love it when you find operculums. I went to Holley Beach today. Not much there and blazing hot! 🌞🔥🌞 But guess what I found??? I’ve never found one on this beach… a flat!!! I couldn’t believe it. Not big like the ones you find, but just as exciting to me! 🎉 I will probably clean my shells Tuesday. I’ll take pics and send it to you. Thanks for the wonderful adventure Maddie! 🥰🥰🥰
G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 It really was a wonderful variety of different shells this time!!! Oh wow, the Periwinkle gets the favourite spot this time 🤩 it really does have a lovely pattern! OHHHH A SHELLING ADVENTURE!!!! Oh my gosh, I can imagine that it would have been a sweltering day, but YESSS CONGRATS on getting yourself an awesome little flat!! I adore the two that I got from you 🐚 they are just beautiful, and different than the flats that I find. I can't wait to see the pictures...I need to clean so many of my shells too. I'm still keen to do another shell trade with you, I have a heap of Hervey Bay shells 🐌 that I think you might like in your collection, kbut eep in mind that the moon snails colours in particular have faded dramatically since bringing them home from the beach. I love all the moon snails that you find. Especially any purple snails. Truth be told all of them are my favorite.❤

Morning Maddie. Love the purple barnacle and the leafy oyster but I have 3 favorites, they are #1 has to be the wentletrap, #2 is the baby cowrie and the 3rd one ie the blue flat snail. I'm just sitting here drinking my coffee while watching this 🎬🎬 video. I'm glad that you had a sunny day for shelling 🐚🐚🐚. Lovr to you both from hot🥵🥵 California. Now I can't wait for winter🥶🥶

It's a fully adult shells, but it's a tiny little dwarf shells; a very cool occurrence that sometimes happens! I was a little horrified when you had a live cone in your hand. The mom in me comes out 😅. Lots of beauties today. I am quite fond of the zebra volute!
G'day Reet 👋🏻💖 Haha, yeah, I was pretty not happy to be holding a live cone shell of unknown species 😅 not sure if it really was a Cat Cone, it might have been a Striated Cone: those are 100% deadly, though there have been no recorded fatalities from them; as always, cone shells are not aggressive to humans. I'm glad you liked the rest of the shells though, that Zebra Volute was an awesome one!!! Thanks for watching 🥰
Hi 👋 Marvelous Maddie!!! I love hunting minis! Do you put them in a special container since they’re so small? You could probably plop down right beside a pile and sit there for a long time just picking minis up. 😮 the flat sand snail was beautiful! Adorable music cone, the colors really are different from what you usually find.. cute little Nutmeg! My favorite is the Zebra Volute this time.. The Cherry Cowry took 🥈 place! G'day Mimi 👋🏻💖 I love looking for the hidden minis too, I hope the pile is back again next time 🐚🤩 I do put some into little containers; some for Beans, Pheasant shells, Dove shells, and for mini Sand Dollars. The rest of the common ones go into a big jar all together...it's only about a quarter full 🤣 There were heaps of other great shells this time too; I'm so glad that you also liked that awesome music cone and flat sand snail 🐌 but oooooh gosh, I really loved the Zebra Volute and Cherry too...I think they might have all tied for my favourites this time too 😀 As always Mimi, thank you so much for joining the shelling adventures 🥰
