  • What a beautiful day; blue skies and calm seas. Unfortunately, the lack of swell didn't bring in a lot of shells, but I found more than I realised? The best shell had a crab that didn't want to move out (I don't blame him) but I still got a few beauties to keep for myself. Thanks for watching!!
Let me know which ones were your favourites ;D and if you enjoyed this and want to see more shell finding videos, I'd appreciate a like or a comment. I read all of them and try to reply when I can. You have no idea how much of a smile you guys put on my face. Thanks everyone!

G'day everyone! Wow, you're actually reading the description? Um, thank you! You will be rewarded with extra content... my Facebook page (link above) is loaded with out-takes and deleted scenes that don't make it into the CZcams videos. Check out the extra funsies over there if you're desperate for more shelling content ;D

I didn't even realise that Point Cartwright and the surrounding beaches had such lovely seashells until I saw "Shellcade Shelling Down Under" - I admired him a lot, and you can check out his videos here:

Great shells this time Maddie! What a lovely captain cone! So CHONKY! The variety of cones available is so exciting! Always excited to see what cowries you find! Nice to see the Chinese cowrie and the silly crabby boy calling it home. 🤭🤣😎 keep your chin up…. Your regular viewers know you shell sustainably and no crabbies go without plenty of options for homes. Blessings on your day. Thanks Maddie

G'day Abigail 👋🏻🏖️ Hehehe, that Captain Cone was nice and chonky for sure 🤩 Oh yes, I've had some lovely luck with cone shells lately 🐚❤️ but also a lot of luck with cowries too! I was very surprised that a crab was so happy with the Chinese Cowrie...I went to the beach yesterday and saw it again; he still has it as his home!! The crabs are overwhelmed with shell options, so they always always choose the best and rarest shells for themselves 😅 they know the good ones when they see them!! Thanks you so much for watching 🥰

G’day dear Maddie! I loved the live whelk, that was a new species for me Also that purple Chinese cowrie was cute. Of the shells taken I loved the little spotted drupe at the end. Im missing my fave the donkey cowrie. I guess they aren’t as common?
We are off to celebrate my hubby’s 59 th birthday. 🎉. Having Mexican food with kids & grandkids. Hope your weekend is a great one. 🐚☀️

G'day Mary Ann 👋🏻🏖️ I am late to say this, but happy 59th birthday to your husband 🎉🎉🎉 what an age to be fortunate enough to reach!! I hope you and the family had a fantastic time celebrating with him 😁 As for the shells, the live Whelk was a new one for me, as well as the Chinese Cowrie (I have bought and gifted ones at home though), and the drupe was lovely as well. Ahh yess, the Donkey Cowries are really not a common shell, I'd say that they're becoming more and more uncommon lately. Hopefully I'll find some when the next big mini piles wash shore; it's all been scattered microshells lately. Thanks for watching 🥰

Loved the wave design 🌊 on that nerite. I’m not sure which cardita I would pick since you know I love pink 💗, but I love the spines on the second one. What a fantastic cone shell 🍦🐚 day! Loved the prickly drupe shell and my favorite today was the orange drupe! Darn that crab for not changing shells 🤨. Another great video Maddie, thank you! 🥰🥰🥰

G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 I'm terrible, I like the Nerites even though they're unpopular 😂 well, at least among my shelling friend group over here 🤣 they look at the Nerites and go "urrg" hahaha!! Ohh the pink Cardita was nice, but like you, I also wish it had those fabulous spines. Yes, the crabbie wouldn't give up his super beauty of a seashell...I guess I should start carrying around a bag with different sized Spengler's Trumpets for these kinds of occasions?? Thanks for watching 🥰

Hello Maddie! Eroded cowrie, orange drupe, and marriage cone, crowned cone with orange patch, prickly spotted drupe, oh my... there were just too many beauties to choose one favourite. The chinese cowrie was also very cool, 💜.

Ahhh yes, I hope I can one day find a Chinese Cowrie (unoccupied) for myself some day too! Thanks for watching 🥰

G'day Guadalupe 👋🏻💖 Oh wow, so you liked the Black Nerite!? They're a fairly common shells, but I don't show them too often because they aren't quite as fabulous as some of the other shell species that I can find. I do like them though, so I'll need to remind myself to pick up more of them 🐌❤️ Thanks for watching 🥰

Hi Maddie! Today I liked all the shells with crabs...the wentletrap, hairy triton, Chinese cowrie; so sorry for you they were occupied. I also especially liked both drupe shells and the prickly cardita shell. However, as always, I love all the shells you show us. My shelling trip in Florida is coming to an end and we will head back to land-locked Austria in a couple of days. I have an extra suitcase just for my shells! Thanks so much for showing us your great videos. Jan

I think they're finding all of the best ones 😲 but that's ok, I'll probably have plenty of chances to find my own in the future 😉 I did grab up a few nice shells for myself though!! Those Drupes were quite nice; I should have given a special mention to the Prickly Spotted Drupe at the end. Have a very safe trip home, Jan!! Wow, a whole suitcase filled with shells 🤩 don't forget to declare them on your customs form, or they will be confiscated!!! Thanks for watching 🥰

Ahhh the crabbie really wanted to keep that amazing shell...I don't blame it, it's a nice shell 🐚 and the day was lovely enough without needing that one final treasure. G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖 It's okay, I actually do have a few Chinese Cowries in my collection, but this one was a super large one (at least twice as large as the two I have)! The crabbie really liked that Cowrie home; I went shelling yesterday and he was still walking around with it!! I wish I got the Hairy Triton from the crab 🦀 that was a nice shell! I hope you're staying cool, I keep hearing about how hot it is in the US right now! Will do my best to stay safe too; it's also raining here leading up to my weekend trip to Yeppoon. @SandCoffeeRocks  Před měsícem +2

G'day Roxann 👋🏻🦀 Yesss you have to try a hermit crab transfer sometime! If the want the shell, it can take between 3-30 minutes for them to change...of they don't want it, they move away from it pretty quick. It's fun though; I've had maybe half a dozen successful transfers to get a rarer shell from a crab! About as many failures, though 😅 the crabs know what they want! Thanks for watching 🥰

Hey Adrian 👋🏻🏖️ Once again you are correct! Huh, so it's more of a NSW shell? Interesting that it's so far north...I knew I hadn't seen it before, but at the same time, I wasn't confident that it wasn't a giant of one of the usual mini top shells that I find.
