I'm going to run the same setup as you, just curious about what height Iron Sights should use for EPS. Those regular height suppressor sights designed for RMR seem a bit too high for EPS..

I also think suppressor height sights are a bit too tall. On my G43x MOS I used the RMR height sights from Night Fission and I think its perfect; it behaves similar to a lower 1/3 co-witness like to rifles. The sights sight at the bottom edge of the rmr window so its a good view. Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for the great vid! Truly excellent job. I just picked up a new G47 Gen 5 MOS and have a Holosun EPS RD-6 on it's way. Mine will be used on my duty weapon. IMO, Holosun has proven themselves as just as valid a "duty grade" option as Trijicon or Aimpoint and many LE agencies are authorizing their use and some are issuing them. Have you found a good set of iron sights that co-witness with the EPS? That's my next purchase.

Also enclosed emitters are the way of the future, and the future is as soon as these things are in stock. I love my ACRO on my home defense gun. I feel the technology for pistol optics has gotten a lot more reliable and there's a lot more options now than that RMR. I hated the idea of having to take off and re-zero just to change a battery. I'm probably getting an EPS for my Glock because enclosed emitter is superior.

With the plate installed, I cannot see/use the factory glock sights through the EPS window. Great question - on most of my pistols I usually run aftermarket night sights like Night Fission that are slightly taller so they appear in the lower portion of the red dot window. Its another expense but depending on the type of handgun and plate used, its the only way to ensure you have backup sights you can view through the optic. Some red dots like the EPS custom have built in rear irons that help you utilize your existing front sight but they aren't perfect. Drawback: 6 moa covers up target at longer ranges. Outdoor range shooters should go with 2 moa , yes ?
Give us a detailed follow up after you experience this optic.

After shooting 6MOA dots on both my carry and other full sized guns, I still don't think it really matters. Ive shot my 365xl with 6moa EPS carry at ~ 110 ish yards and at that distance the 6moa dot covers up most of an IPSC steel target (test) but still as long as you got good fundamentals you can consistent hits. I'll do a follow up video comparing 6m0a and 2-3moa dots on pistols soon. Thanks for watching!

    509t is more durable.

Only 1 of my friends has a 509T for testing for right but they do seem pretty durable. Thanks for watching!

@@romeoquach300 titanium is 40% stronger than aluminum, which is why the eps is so cheap.

FYI This is just a plain gen 5 with night sights and your Glock it is NOT Modular Optic System (MOS).
