The fact that amrita and anmol are so casually sitting with mf hussain’s painting of amrita’s behind them on the wall is so cool! She was his muse after madhuri dixit and I’ve always felt that she had the same calibre as madhuri- the way amrita chews her dialogues, acts from the eyes is very reminiscent of the 80s queen. And amrita could also do chirpy innocent happy go lucky roles like kareena. I think there’s only one other actor who could master both schools of acting other than amrita and that’s alia bhatt. I don’t think people fully appreciate what a talented actress amrita is. Just because she’s obviously and blatantly gorgeous they focus on that more. I personally don’t like mf hussain but he is a celebrated artist and the fact that he chose amrita as his muse after madhuri is a much-needed appreciation of her beauty and talents
