The famicom and NES minis have no flaps and they must banter.
I own an NES Classic Mini and a Famicom Mini Gold Jump Edition unopened. I actually added my own games to the NES Classic and Famicom Disk system games are supported! Twings to note:
1. The only Famicom Disk System game that does not work is Otokky because the gtame does not emulate disk swapping. 2: The FDS 23CC wavepattern sound emulation does not support cycle accurate modulation counter hardware register $4085; as evident in the second level of Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa, which is the only game that requires emulation of this timing function.
I do not want to open my gold Famicom Mini but it can also be modded to add custom games and is not an emulation revision.
I could go into details about the noise channel emulation and why it does not sound correct (Balloon Fight, Kirby's Adventure are notable games) but it would take too long.

Also, I'm surprised Doki Doki Panic wasn't included as well as Super Mario USA. The Famicom mini feels incomplete without both Zelda 1 games.

WRECKING CREW GASP !!! So the famicom classic get's a box in the shape of the fds.Funny enough the genesis mini is getting the same treatment.Which is a plastic replica of the 32x and sega-cd.

Okay, here’s a new idea: maybe since the minis can’t open their mouths, they can communicate telepathically? It kind of works since they’re clones of a much older thing created by Nintendo... like Mewtwo.
TBustah I considered having them just mumble as if their mouths were sewn shut.
How can Nintendo make a Famicom mini and NOT put Mother on it? Isn't Mother 2 on the Super Famicom mini?
Some of their choices for those 30 games are definitely perplexing to a Western audience, but Japanese nostalgia is different...? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
