Cougar Mountain Bike Park Tokoroa New Zealand

My son Hudson and I went on a short mountain biking weekend away together. Driving from Napier to Tokoroa to mountain bike at the Cougar Mountain Bike Park (which worked out to be the same time as their official grand opening day. The Tracks we tried were really fun and we will definitely go back there to ride more and dial in the obstacles and jumps more next time. But we were really impressed with the park so far!
Side note: I had ridden in this park a couple of times in the past, on some older tracks.
Since then the park has built seven new awesome trails from Grade 2.5 up to Grade 5.
My normal bike, Specialized Stumpjumper 2016 27.5 (size medium) was out of action and the rear shock was being repaired. I was kindly provided with a 2020 Scott Genius (size Large) 29'r from 'My Ride Pedal Power Taradale' to use for this trip.
