"When I bought the Powerslide, I opted for a size 44-45. Initially, they were uncomfortable and even caused a significant blister. Although the discomfort from the insole persisted, the length was perfect. Now I'm considering whether I should go for a larger size. Even though I switched them for FR 3, I really liked the Powerslide and I'm thinking of getting Next ones. However, it's difficult to find them in my local area, and I can't try them on before buying. Do you think a larger size would be better for me, considering my previous experience, or would it be the same problem?"

Just found your channel. I'm 64 and have been inline skating for about 28 years. I generally do bout 20 miles a few times a week in the summer. It is perhaps one of the most enjoyable "hobbies" in my life. I have several pairs of PS Next boots with the 3 x 100 being one of my favorite set-ups. I have been fortunate in that the only Powerslide boot that bothered my feet were the HC Evo's. No matter how many times I heat molded, made insole changes, or tried different sock types they were just never very comfortable. I enjoyed this video quite a bit. The filming was very professional. Perhaps one day we will make it to New Zealand. That trail looked beautiful!

Thank you so much... I actually had a seriouse bike accident and it had a big affect on my sports, head injury, broken hand and ribs, then I broke another finger and another head injury. So I am not riding. But I am skating again now. But have to take it easy. But I still love it like crazy. So will hopefully post something inline again at some stage. I have been keeping busy doing some Viking photography and vids to keep me sane. But my head injury was no joke, so two years of getting back on my feet. I posted some vids a few months ago. But they were vids prior to my big crash. But I will try and make a vid about this experience at some stage. Thank you so much. And keep skating.

one more question My feet 270 and 10.5 cm , i have never used powerslide. In Next there is a nice sizing i think 42-43 (269-275mm) But for imperial 110 there is 2 sizing 41-42 (263-269mm) and 43-44 (277-283mm) So if i buy imperial 110 which one should i buy? If i buy 43-44 it will be a little big if i buy 41-42 it will be very tight. For this reason i want to buy Next :/ Do you have any idea for this? One more topic Your feet is 27.5 long and 11cm you wrote you wear 43 on sport shoes and you bought 44-45 In the powerslide there is a sizing table for next core black 100 For 42-43 (269-275) For 44-45 (282-289) Although tthese is a warning please add 5mm for comfort So this will be 280MM for you. Thanks for the review and the tricks to make them more comfortable! I'm getting back to blading after 25 years off, and leaning towards getting these, but with the 4x80 frame. Since you've had these for almost a year now, I have a few questions I was hoping you could help with. You mentioned that you was recommend sizing up from your regular size... after breaking them in for a year, have you found that the liner has loosened up to the point where there's too much room now, or would you still recommend sizing up? My longest foot is 24.2cm, and the size 39-40 skate would be 24.2-24.8cm. Do you think that would be a good size for me to get? I worry about the skates feeling "sloppy" and lacking control, so I'm always concerned about sizing up. Lastly, is the interior foot bed of the skate flat with insoles and a shock absorber creating a raised heel, or does the boot it self have a built in raised heel like the Roces M12s? I ask because I would like the option to remove the shock absorbers to make a flatter skate. Cheers!

Hello, thanks your msg and detailed questions. Welsome back to the sport. You'll love it. I'll be doing an updated vid soon. But here are some answers from perspective. After a year of use... I don't find them too loose. They actually still feel really good and snug. And I am really happy with the fit, feel and so on... @@8118productions I also absolutely love it. What I especially love is when they are driving handsfree. I try to mimik their "not touching the handlebar"bodylanguage while overtaking them^^ Its great, while they try getting some freedom on their Bike, living the pure freedom on wheels straight under your feet.

Also considering these blades. Maybe worth bringing those to ski shop and ask them to grind the plastic from inside.

Yeah thats an idea, just don't take too much off ay. A heat gun might be a safer option and just heat mould it. Good luck đŸ€™đŸ˜Š

Thanks for the helpful review. I'm considering these Skates as my very first pair, do you still recommend for a beginner?

Hi Padma, it will be a little harder at first with bigger wheels, but not that much harder to be honest. You will quickly adjust and I think these will be great first skates

@@8118productions Thanks for reply mate. I meant to say I bought with 4 x 80mm set up as it was suggested for beginner. I almost bought K2 soft boot skates and luckily found out that hard boot would be best to learn from and then found the Next skates. Do you find the boot itself comfortable?

Don’t tie your 45 buckle too tight that makes it worse.. if you have a heat gun put your skates on and heat gun the area (not too much and not too close) once you have warmed the area up, stand up and lean to the extreme in all directions to loosen the boot up in sensitive areas, repeat if needed.. remember don’t heat them up too much cause you’ll fuck’em (proper technical term) 🧐👌😀 ps white zinc oxide tape is your friend!! 😎
