Isle of Man TT lap records were made and broken as the finest talent in road racing gathered for what was to be a special year. The 1992 featured fantastic racing that brought Phillip McCallen (Honda) and Geoff Bell/Keith Cornbill (Yamaha sidecar) maiden victories, a brace of wins for Brian Reid (Yamaha) and a place in the history books for Joey Dunlop as a 14 times winner.
Steve Hislop on his white Abus Norton rekindled memories of the glory days of Manx Nortons, dicing with Carl Fogarty throughout the 6-lap Senior. Foggie set a new outright lap record of 123.61mph on the last riveting, nail-biting lap, but it still wasn't enough to catch the brilliant Hizzie, who nicked it by 4 seconds!
Savour the breathtaking footage from this historic and memorable meeting including on-bike action down the roller-coaster ride that is Bray Hill and kerbcams to bring you literally inches from the action.

I can't imagine what it's like hanging on that bar in the sidecar travelling at 180+ mph the mind boggles. 👍🇬🇧

Trust in the driver and everything else will fall into place.
