    It would be great if you could stay on topic. Love that you are willing to share your knowledge! Thanks for the info. Maybe Chase should pay more attention rather than making jokes

    Why not use a two hose reservoir each with a one way valve that way the piston is pumping oil through the one hose and drawing in from the other? Then the reservoir can better cool it? Maybe use T shaped resi to handle the piston and nitrogen without affecting cross flow.

    Out of all coatings and finishes available, why anodized? Like TiN or NiB or ceramic. Then a surface hardening treatment for the shaft maybe.

    Question: I have walker evens shocks on my 2021 Polaris RZR 1000 XP4, which I purchased in August 2020. It was my first SXS, and had I done more research I would have purchased something else. However, at the moment, the "car" did exactly what I wanted...and more. I have Shock Therapy sway bars and links front and rear...along with Shock Therapy Coils (only one friggin t-shirt...grrrrrr). I will have their frame supports next month (October 2021), and both sway bars will be placed in the most aggressive position...cause that's got to be better...lol Hopefully...fingers crossed...I will have their Ride Improvement System by December, 2021. So, when that is done, will my performance and ride quality be better than the Fox? I need to know, so I can "neener...neener...neener" my neighbor, who is running Fox Shocks...lol.

    I really get tired of those clowns working with you trying to decide if a race car is a race car! While i'm trying to learn how the internal by-pass shocks work, everything is interrupted by the clowns! All I want to do is replace the crummy shocks on my new RZR, not listen to a bunch of bullcrap!

    I got something for you. I come from an old atv racing background and back then, Elka (stage5) was and still is huge. Would this be a viable decision over Fox / King? HAHAHAHAHA! There he goes off on Elka and Bilstein. I need to shut up until the video is done.

  • @AntiPattern328

    I think the Speed is coming with a totally different King Shock setup not the Fox...

    I had Tender springs on my Polaris, and thought those were called piggybabk springs. That said, the weight shift in my car stopped when I added Shock Therapy Sway bars and links. Frankly, I suspect Polaris puts the tender springs on their cars because they are cheap; roll over testing is an excuse. Moreover, I suggest that a new car with tender springs and their cheap sway bars and links is dangerous. Again, the roll over testing is an excuse because once I changed my sway bars and links...still had their tender springs...the weight shift at 25 mph was gone...it was and is a night and day difference. In my opinion, the tender spring is a money issue, and has nothing to do with safety.
    I love my "car" but Polaris is cheap, and it shows on performance. Furthermore, every month I improve my car...changing something...and in that way, it becomes that much less...Polaris.

    Why are the tender springs on the ST dual rate turbo S dynamix so small in length compared to the tenders you see on other cars including the X3 and the KRX shown in this video? I found with mine we had to swap tenders to get recommended ride height with out have a ton of preload but the replacement tenders are still short just a heavier weight spring.

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 4 lety

      The Turbo S has a very small shock package in front from a length stand point. This dictates the spring lengths we have to run. Lengths don't mean anything with regard to ride height or performance. Only spring rate does. The X3 and KRX use a much longer shock on the front so we can run longer springs as needed.

    Do you offer spring kits and valving for the Fox X2 internal bypass shocks on the YXZ, if so do you consider the upgrade to be... somewhat, mid or very noticeable? Is the X2 shock better than the RC2, I.B. vs non-bypass shock? Thanks guys, keep up the great content!

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 4 lety +1

      Yes we do. The bypass works way better in the YXZ due to its Zone control. Huge change!

    Can we pay Shock Therapy to plate our Walker Evens Shocks, or is that part of your Ride Improvement System? if we can pay for the plating...how much?

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 3 lety +1

      sorry Aaron but it costs more money to do that than it is worth since we have to completely strip the shocks down and strip some plating off parts in a walker in order to do better plating. It does not pencil out.

    What part does shaft size make in a shock? Not length but diameter? Could you run those shocks on a full size buggy twice the weight there abouts with the same size shaft if they fit in the same location. I guess in other words what weight vehicle dictates what size shaft thickness.

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 4 lety

      shaft is related to resistance. Heavier car or buggy needs more shock resistance to keep it from bottoming out. More shock resistance needs more shaft diameter to keep from bending the shaft. So, usually, bigger shock, bigger shaft for bigger car. Most front UTV shocks are 5/8 or 3/4 shaft. Rears are 3/4 or 7/8. You need a 7/8 shaft for any sand car or buggy. 1" is common for V8 sand cars and 1.25" is mostly racing related like a trophy truck.

      To much $ fir a stock oem to do. They are illegal in most off road racing utv classes.
