  • We set out and explore the Mark Twain Nation Forest and Current River. We discover multiple water crossing and make the short hike to take in the wonderful deep blue color of Blue Spring.

    Can I ask what time e of year was this trip? And what river are creek do you keep crossing? Beautiful

      Angela, this was in September of 2023. The creek is Blair Creek and I think it was county road 238.

      I'm sorry, but I didn't record this one. Here is what I rember, start at Echo Bluff State Park and take the following, CR 19-250, 2220, P-235, 242, at the end of 242 took a unkown trail south to CR 106-B then to Blue Spring and HW 106 to Shawnee Creek Camp. Hope this helps.
