Looks like fun, but it’s absolutely appalling that a company worth $1 billion has the nerve to charge college students $400 to accept a job that pays them $11/hour. That’s a week’s worth of wages you’re giving them for free. Disney can dress it up as an ‘admin fee’ or whatever they like, but in Australia we call it wage theft and it’s illegal. US labor laws are wild.
I had never been to Disney until I graduated college and I wish I had known before so I could've applied for the DCP. Love your videos and your love for Disney! Thanks for bringing some magic to all of us Disney lovers!
Same! I discovered it not long after lining up my full-time job.
I absolutely looove your channel I can’t wait for some more Disney world content!!! I want to do the dcp!!! 🤍🤍🤍
I'm obsessed with that bibbidi bobbed boo shirt. SO CUTE

I was supposed to start my program earlier this month and have been binging content to fill the void in my heart. Thank you for posting so many wonderful videos!!
Can’t wait for the rest of this week!!
I remember doing my first college program a years ago and watching your video explaining each role and that's when I completely got hooked in your channel lol
Thank you! Love your videos and are awesome when in quarantine!
Love love love your channel! Can’t wait for more videos 💕
Thank you so much for being honest and saying that you didn't get accepted the first time around. The same thing happened to me and I was so so sad, but knowing I am not the only one gives me comfort that I might get in for next semester.
I looove your channel and me and my mom love to learn about the DPC and watch your vlogs. I love you channel!
Thanks for the video ! Also omg the background of you room is so cute and you are so so pretty ! 🥺✨x
just decided to start researching abt dcp and im so happy ive found ur vids!!
Wow you answered all of my questions! You are so helpful!! 💗💗
I love watching your videos! I was one of the students that lost their program this year. I was going to go April 20-July 31. But i am hopeful and will try again next year!
A whole week of Bronwyn videos 😩👌 I’ll never be able to do dcp because I’ve graduated but I love watching your videos while I’m currently furloughed 😅
Thank you for making this video. I’m not in college yet but I really want to do the dcp. So thank you for informing me of all this information.
I love your videos and the information you give us. Thank you!
I can't wait until my program (if it's even still a thing after corona)!!! I was wondering if you could talk a little bit more about living on dcp housing, like the pros and cons of each apartment complex, as well as the bus situation! Thank you for bringing your positivity into quarantine-- it is much appreciated!
Hi I'm a CP alum :) Dcp housing has sort of a college dorm vibe if that makes sense lol (you're living with a lot of people in a small space/some ppl are trying to party/some are figuring out how to live on their own finally/mostly everyone is trying to have a lot of fun - stuff like that). During my program, Vista Way had the most of that vibe and Patterson had it the least (it seemed the most like chill and quiet). The others were in the middle. Taking the bus works fine but having a car is awesome. With the bus you must plan around the bus schedule, it takes longer to get places because of other stops/you may have to walk far to get to the bus stop from your apartment. To me the bus was not the ideal form of transport but it worked.
My program will (hopefully) start on August 3rd and I’ve never been more excited!
I love your channel so much!!! ❤️❤️
Thanks so much for this video. I'm 37 and finishing my Radiology degree next summer. I thought I was way to old to apply but knowing there were others older than me kind of made me change my mind. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a spot! Thanks B ❤
Bronwyn your eyes are mesmerizing 😍
It's gonna take a lotta Disney Magic to get us through these dark, diseased times.
I interviewed for the international program to work in the Canadian pavilion in Epcot. Even though I didn’t get the job, the experience was amazing
yay im almos th first!! i love your videos i hope you are doing well!
definitely going to do it once i graduate from nursing school! ❤️
Yay new video ❤️💕I’m dying to start DCP
this was so helpful!!! thank you 🤍
Not even going to be doing a program, just loving your videos 💕😊👌🏼
ahhh ive been waiting for another bron vid!
omg... you are the first American DCP youtube that's even mentioned the cultural exchange program! I feel seen:) lol, I can't wait to apply for it for summer 2021!
you look like a disney princess 🥺👑
they did just recently update Disney Look so you can have up to two piercings in each ear and you’re allowed to get highlights/balayage/etc done to your hair as long as it’s natural colors (brunette/blonde/ginger/black) and you’re willing to maintain it.
I so wish I had this video when I was in college! Super informative and helpful and definitely wouldn’t have missed out on my chance. 💔 ALSO, what is your lip color?! It’s gorgeous on you!
Thank you! This helps a lot, I just got accepted yesterday and start in August!
This might be in a future video, but I'll ask it here anyway😊 you have done the college program for photopass and the boutique, so I was wondering (in general or specifics) what the other programs are? I'm just curious💕I love that you're doing this!!
Excellent as always
Had no idea this was a thing! Thank you :)
Hi!! Love this video, thank you so much for doing it!! Quick question, why do you have to pay the $400? Like what does it go to? Also, does it cost extra to take the classes if you choose to? Thanks so much!!🥰
great video!! so helpful
I love these videos! I’m going to be applying to the DCP and I just want to learn as much as I can about it.❤️
Ohh I loved this video! Do you know if there are any journalism opportunities within WDW? I’m also thinking about the Aspire program as there’s a Disney resort where I live...
Hi I wanted to say your the reason why I'm thinking about applying for the dcp program. I have a question actually about working in the boutique. You have to know all these different hairstyles and looks do they teach you how to style the hair and how to be gentle with the kids?
In training they do teach you the hairstyles ❤️
Love your videos!!! A few questions, when should you apply for the programs, like when do applications open for the different sessions? Also, when you say no ombré hair, would that include highlighted hair that is naturally more brown at the roots and blonder at the bottom?
Check the dcp website for application dates depending on which program you want to apply for. Your hair needs to look like it could naturally grow like whatever color it is.
I am planning on applying after I graduate and wondered if I should see how the application process is before I graduate. Thank you for the advice! I was super worried about going through the application process and it look bad on me in the future if I reject the opportunity before I actually want to do the program. Your videos have been a great help about the program!
as far as I know, unless you tell them in your interview you previously turned down an offer they wont know youve even applied before. but even if they do know it wont hurt your chances of being accepted!
I hope I can join when its back up at Disneyland. I have three friends who were in it
hi!! I am really excited about the DCP, but i was wonder what the cost is around?
after you got and then reapplied for summer alumni and fall 2019 did you use the same resume and did it always work for getting past the application stage or would you recommend changing your resume every time?
The godess returns!
Thank you so much for making these videos!!💕💕 1 small little random question: Does extra magic hours apply to the cp’s??
It does not - emh are only for resort guests. When my fam came to visit me during my cp i put my name on their room like i was staying with them so that i could go to emh with them. A small trick though - if you are already in the park and night emh start you can stay in the park and go to shops and walk around but you can't go on any rides because that's where they check your magic band to see if you are a resort guest.
Thank you for the very informative video!!
i LOVE your channel
does your eligibility to do the alumni program end at the same time as your dcp eligibility (shortly after completing college) or does it last longer? If so when does it “expire”/ no longer eligibile for alumni?
Is a natural ombre hair ok for dcp?
im 16 and i’m graduating early as well as taking dual enrollment college classes but if i keep doing this i would only be able to do it for one year but i would like to do it longer so what can i do?
I haven't graduated high school yet but I have done my research and found that back in 2014 Disneyland didn't do distance learning for classes. Is that still true today or has Disneyland adapted to distance learning?
Hi bron!! i have a question, can you do normal college while doing dcp thanks✨✨✨
I was wondering if you could talk more about extending your program? I haven’t found any videos talking about it. Also about opportunities to stay with the company after?
Hi cp alum here :) Toward the end of your program you will get emails about applying to extend your program into another program. So basically you'll be doing a second CP program. Opportunities to stay on with the company as a non cp employee straight from your cp are super random and unlikely. You might get lucky and your location will be looking for a seasonal/part time/full time employee which you might hear about from a coordinator, but that's pretty rare. You can always apply to jobs through the disney careers website and the fact that you have the cp on your resume will help you.
I graduated from college over a decade ago so this doesn't apply to me, but I had an internship after college at a company not related to Disney so I'm interested in internships. Do you think the internship really does help you get a foot in the door at Disney, especially if you want to work higher up and not in one of the theme parks? Since there are thousands of interns, how do you set yourself apart to get noticed? Do you have the option of speaking to an adviser about how to move up in the company? Do you get advance notice of job postings within the company?
Hi, I just got accepted into DCP, and didn't realize my ombre hair could be a problem. If my ombre is natural colors is that alright or do I need to dye it before i go to Disney?
Thank you for explaining
hey bron! I was wondering about your friends/roomies on your programs and if they were able to graduate on time? and what were some examples of their majors? just trying to figure out how to get that internship credit!
Hi! dcp alum here :) I took a semester off college to do the cp so I ended up graduating a semester later than I would have but I think it was worth it. Getting internship credit for the dcp has to do with your college advisor/major department head.
I was an environmental science major and i was a recreation cp. My department head did not give me internship credit because he decided that the job I was going to have wasn't related enough to my major. Secondary to that, I took a Disney sustainability lecture class (it had no homework or tests) and my department head did think it applied to my major but he would not give me credit because he needed the class to have tests to show him I was putting in effort.
On the flip side, I had a sorority sister who also did the CP, she was a recreation cp like me, she was a recreation and parks major, she didn't take any classes and she got internship credit. I also had roommates who did the cp the semester after they graduated because graduating on time was more important.
If you want to be sure about getting credit, I would go to your college advisor and bring info about the program jobs and classes and ask them what you would have to do while you are there in order to get credit.
I have both contacts and glasses. Would I be allowed to switch between the two for work, or just stick to one or the other for the whole program? I love your videos btw ❤️
you can switch between the two!
Hey Bron! I was wondering if we would be able to get some Sit-down content about college, dance, and just your life because I’d be really interested to get to know you as a person outside of Disney through your channel!
If you do a 1 1/2 years of college classes in high school does that count as a semester of college?
love love love your channel! were you allowed to wear your apple watch to work during the dcp?
it depends on your role
Do you know if black for glasses count as a neutral color? I would think it does but i don’t know for sure.
Is the arrival date during the semester? I’m in my last year of undergrad and I haven’t applied because of this lol
Ok so I was going to be one of the Fall Advantage 2020 CP’s, but as we know it was cancelled, my question is that I put to put me with someone random for the college program, how would you find out who it is? Do you find out before you arrive or when you get there? Like would I even know they’re name or anything about them?
Hi! Been a silent viewer forever but I absolutely ADORE your content and personality! 💖 I wasn’t allowed to have a job during high school (boarding school lol) so I have fairly limited work experience. Do you think that’ll pose a problem on the application? (I’ve had a ton of volunteer experience if that counts for anything haha)
no! i didn’t have any real experience either
Once Upon a Bron sweet! thanks for the reply 🥺
What would you consider is "too old" for the program? I feel like most of the people on it are 18-25. Is it typical to see people 26+ and would you recommend it?
can I apply as a community college student?
Sorry if this is a dumb question! But what’s the difference between doing the dcp vs just getting a job at Disney? I’m only asking because of the 400 dollar fee. It’s like I’m paying them to hire me?
i am a freshman in hs and i’ve known i wanted to do the dcp since i was in 5th grade. my school offers duel enrollment to where i can graduate my senior year with already having either a semester or my freshman year of college done , does that mean i can do the dcp right out of the gate or do i have to have a semester at the college since i will have completed one semester in the high school building but they are college classes? hope that makes sense lop
You must have completed at least one semester of full on college to apply

My final semester of college ended last December, but my graduation wasn’t actually supposed to be until this upcoming July (obviously that’s not happening because of covid tho). Does my 12 month chance to apply start from the day I finished my classes or the time I was actually supposed to have my graduation ceremony? Would really appreciate the help 😅😅
finished your classes
Hello Bron! You’re gorgeous! Just wondering, I’m a dual enrollment student and already did my first semester of college while in high school, does that mean I have to do my first “real” semester of college once I’m done with high school to get in or can I apply directly?
ohhh tricky i’m not sure!

This link may be able to help!
What happens if you take/have taken college classes while in highschool? Do you still have to be 18 or older? Should you just wait until your done with your AA/ a later time in college? Also love the videos!
You must be at least 18 years old by the time your program starts. Also you must be enrolled in classes and have completed one semester in college to apply.
as a cp/cast member are you able to get access to photo pass/memory maker? or at least discount for your photos?
nope. you still have to pay for it
I’m in High School right now, and I want to do the DCP. Do we have to go to a normal college before going to the DCP? I’m confused
you need at least one semester at a college before you can apply for DCP!
@@mikaylanicole2855 this answer is why I watched this video, thank you!
what do you use to whiten your teeth?
for anyone who has done this before, how much research did you do? Was there anything you wished you looked up before you done it?
Does anyone here know if you can apply for the cultural representative program (Norway) now or if they´ve stopped taking in people because of covid? Someone please help meee
