I would not buy it but that's me. I've seen enough mystery packs open. It's a good way of getting rid of Abraham Toro rookies and topps chrome basic autos! If the price was $25. Maybe! Love that Bohm and Murphy auto!! The Puig rookie is cool too!

I got a group of friends from certain channels that do repack its actually alot of fun cause on Discord they show off the cards that could be hit then they make packs with various Rookie, autos, Relics or unopened packs with the several chase cards valued from $30-$40 for 1 the next at about $90-$120 and the last chase at about $150-$200 and packs are about $50 each and only 10 repacked so you got a good chance at a hit

Cards will be from 70's, 80's,90's,2000's and lots of 2020 crards with good rookie cards. All lots will have becket value over cost and will include some unique cards you may have never seen before. I'm planing on doing like team lots, but I want it to be a surprise. They're only filled with rookies, relics, autos, and inserts/parallels. The prices range from $15-$10, and you get anywhere from 15-30 cards. The prices will probably change, but my dad told me that I have to try not to rip people off, and that's what I'm trying to avoid, ripping people off.
NOTE: There will be stars as well, but not all relics and hits and stuff will be rookies or stars

That's kind of what I'm doing. I have a graded '89 UD Ken Griffey Jr. rookie that I'm using as the "chase" card, but I'm trying to give decent value where if you don't get it, it's not a waste of $19.99. But like you, I don't have a ton of autos or relics.

For the $120 you spent... You did get a few good ones.. The Bohm refractor could be big if he does well. right now it has to be $35+... I think the retail resell might be more like $75 on the four packs... but you might come out ahead if you hold the Bohm til he gets hot... then you might get more like $60 for it. I'm really cutting back on sealed product so I wouldn't buy these or new boxes... but you serve the public well in showing them.

repacks and mystery packs have always been a scam on ebay. Every "repack" listening I have bothered to look into have had pictures from multiple listings of other sellers on the network. There are even listings from 5-6 different sellers that claim to have bought an estate sale that all use the same exact pictures. The proof is out there if you have the time to look and ebay staff really doesn't give 2 shits if you get scammed. As long as they make their cut off the sale.

  • @Gotmark76NWAWWF2KWrestling

I feel like this was a let down. I actually am selling Mystery re-Packs on eBay right now, and I'm charging $19.99 with free shipping. I feel the cards I gave BLEW AWAY the first, and would be competitive with the others. But I guess the way things are worded, you need to be careful. Since I'm not an "eBay store", and an individual account, I felt it was important to offer a decent price and a hopeful decent return because a negative feedback would bring me down.

@@305CardCollector the main chasers were a graded '89 UD KGJr, a graded 2012 Topps Bryce Harper, graded 2014 Topps Jose Abreu, and a few graded cards of HOF'ers like Frank Thomas, Jeff Bagwell, etc. To be (brutally) honest, I sorted all different packs out, then put them inside (4) individual boxes, and chose (1) pack from each. I've seen a good amount of repack/mysterys opened online. Many are outright garbage. Just a way to rid oneself of box after box of common and dollar autos/relics. Some are too good to believe as well. (You'd think they were juiced to sell the remainders)
I myself am working on a nice box. It's gonna be 1950s to 2020 with 95% NM/MINT cards and over 1000 hall of famers/rookies/stars.(60-70% of those Hofs/rookies/stars are PRE 1986! and 2010-2020 too!) No $1000 cards to chase, just fair VALUE for your dollar. Yes, you can find a $50-$100+ vintage rookie in your box, AND also have packs to open that MAY yield a $1000 parallel. But I make no guarantee you'll pull a 1/1. Just fair, FUN and nice cards for your dollar.

I probably wouldn't buy it. To me, the perfect mystery pack would maybe cut back one of the five cards and replace it with a pack from one of those old 90s Donruss/Score/etc. products that have a ridiculously stupidly minute chance of hitting a HOF auto, and maybe one or two more random junk wax packs. I would see the packs as guaranteed value (I place value on the experience of breaking into unseen cards, plus the small existing value of the cards). Part of what I don't like about this is you get only five cards, another part is that it's fully curated... some old junk would remedy both problems for me.

You should expect to come close, but eBay sellers have listing and final value fees. And, obviously, the whole point of selling on eBay is to make money. You aren't going to make money if you're putting cards worth more than $35.00 in the pack and then paying fees. Just my thoughts!

Like anything in baseball cards lately, you are buying a lottery ticket. The thing I would look at are what are the top finds compared to the number of packs made. As far as trust, all you can do is go by feedback, but that can be gamed by the seller creating other accounts to create positive feedback. Two things stick out to me right away in this write up. One is the incorrect description for the bat down card. This means the seller is not as savvy about there cards. The second is they have disclosed the cards that have been found. I did not see anything in the feedback to identify who got the card. This leads me to believe he knows what packs he is sending out or worse he is bating buyers to say they have better odds on winning. You would think he would not disclose what has been found because there is no guarantee that the chase cards will be found later opposed to coming out in the first hundred if truly random. At least you got something better than junk wax, but I will steer clear of these sales. You just never know who you are dealing with.

I would not buy those mystery packs

  • @bull_city_sports_cards

Thanks for sharing! I would pass, but it seemed like you did get a couple of noteworthy pulls.

Naw I'm not down with mystery packs. I've gotten 1 or 2 and it's just a reason for these folks to dump their commons and what not. You could get a decent hanger or blaster for 40 bucks.

Travis D'Arnaud? HOF for sure. They put in cards that don't grade 10. That's why they're in there. Probably went by Beckett
