Ms Girlie -Yes, I agree. Great for older eyes. Older eyes need a lighter definition and this works great. If you go too heavy on an older eye with shadow you end up highlighting any wrinkles and crepey skin.

I really like this tutorial. It really does define an elongate your eye. I do have to say that at 52, my hooded eyelids/downturned eyes have definitely required more TLC when applying eyeshadow and I'll eye liner as I have aged. I've also had to learn new ways to put on makeup, to not emphasize how down turn my eyes have become. I wish I wasn't too far away from you, because I would love to get your advice on the aging eye. As you age oh, you will most likely have to adjust how you put on eyeshadow and eyeliner as well. You are a beautiful young woman and I enjoy your tutorials! Keep it up and thank you for doing them!

@@DanaRipperton oh ok, I think eyeshadow sticks might work also so maybe try the new cover girl eyeshadow sticks?

I've also heard kiko has eyeshadow sticks but I'm not sure if they are cruelty free

Interesting idea. But I use a Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow stick and blend really quickly with one finger. It seems a lot quicker and doesn’t need all that blending. Just an idea.

Very helpful and easy to follow... with mature skin, wouldn’t the powder on the eye area at the end cause creasing in wrinkles?
