My wife has all her books, and enjoyed reading them all! Now I am seeing the movies, and know why she loves them so much❤
I knew it! But yet I didn't know it. Mary Higgens Clark is a fabulous writer and it's been years since I'd read the book. Very enjoyable movie, thank you for the upload.
Was like watching this movie for the first time. Moral of the story, let the cops do their job. Playing detective can be hazardous to your health.
I've only just learning about, watching MHC movie's. I've now watched 3 movie's and have enjoyed them!
I wish my Mother was still alive. She would have loved to both read her book's and watched her movie's.
Thank you for the share. Appreciated

A dramatic thriller. Amazing storyline as usual and fantastic cast. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Watching and appreciative.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
In the 71 years, I have lived, I crammed so much of life experience together that I can honestly say I lived for three. I've traveled the world and seen what it had to offer . I Have an extensive bio .. that I shall not go into detail here as there are certain things one should not mention online. This film may be a warning to the unsuspecting online daters but I assure you that there is danger always around the corner for those that are naive.
I agree!!
I’m like you. Lucky to be alive. Adventure and freedom to be and see and do cost and they have their consequences. If you’re still standing, keep going. I’m risk averse now!
Same age and world experience but never online dating lol
Tell me little bit how to live like that.
Online dating is ridiculously seductive and not for the feint of heart or youngsters!
my all time favourite Mary Higgins Clark novel! 💗
Her best imho.
Ms Clark's books keep me enthralled and I can't put them down until I'm finished. In the book the one guy( the first one in the movie) got all p.o.ed stormed out and stiffed her for the champagne. Later he came around and started bugging her because she wouldn't have anything to do with him. Back in the day 1954 BC( before computers) there were "lonely hearts" ads in various magazines. There were also some lonely hearts murders. Anyway one time - computer dating, some guy set up a date online - you are supposed to be 18 but these online people just take your word for it. Turns out the girl was a minor. He was arrested. Her family didn't want to press charges but he was prosecuted and convicted. Officially he was a sex offender and denied access to computers among other things. Moral of the story; personally check I.D.s before going any further. Anyway----------
I like Mary Higgins Clark novels and i ' d like to watch the movies , but the sound is too low . Turn up the volume , please !
This author was not afraid to take on controversial subjects!
I love this movie 🎥 I think it's a wonderful story, a very unique story. I saw this years ago, I still think it's a good movie. MHC is very very talented. I wish to purchase all her books and movies. Viewing the movies makes me want to read the books 📚. She is sorely missed MHC.
Knew the killer from the beginning. Their voice and enunciation is very distinctive. It's funny how they talk of online dating as something for misfits or losers - "why do you need personal ads?" Was a different time I guess. Now online dating is more the norm rather than the exception.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. We can learn a lot from her books.
I remember watching this one on tv a few years back, the murderer is always someone you least expect.
I've been watching these movies so long I usually can figure out the killer but didn't figure on him.
I always liked Mary Higgins Clark because she has always chucked a bucket load of "red herrings" into her books that kept you guessing and guessing again, until the end. Bravo! Thanks for the upload, very entertaining! Cheers from Oz! 🦘 P.S...I have subscribed!
I read most of MHC's books from mid80's to mid90's... Unbelievable that it's like 30yrs ago! My taste in literature has obvi evolved since, but even though some of this movie seems cheesy-- this profile could straight-up be on Mindhunter or Criminal Minds right now, present time 😬
Amazing move, had my undivided attention the whole time. Thank you so much!
Love Mary Higgins Clark. I never expected the culprit in this one😱
Been awhile since I read the book but I would say that basically it pretty well followed her original plot. In the book there no computers just personals in the papers and magazines. her msg evn then was be careful of these dating sites.
Am usually right on the mark of the killer. But this one threw me for a while. The brother sure was suspicious and thought it was his voice. But always suspect the least likely! And lo and behold I do believe that's the Murdoch Mysteries detective! Great mystery.
Thank you for putting this up
Patsy Kensit from Eightth Wonder. I used to love her singing. its a shame this video is not good quality though
Anyone else think the killer's voice in the scenes where he is dancing sounds a little like Martin Short?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
love this movie
Great movie
Thank you for sharing ❤
Mary Higgins Clark doesn't write cheesy stuff, unless movie fills in more!!! Stuff!!!!!
Un descubrimiento esta escritora !!! Se le acerca un poco a l grande y q amo Aghata Christie!!❤❤❤👏👏
Amazing
If she thought that something was not right she should have grabbed her answering machine. One the guys on there could have given a false name.
As I said before Mary Higgins Clark is one of the most Best Suspense, Thriller Story Teller of all times though Agatha Christie and some other Women Writers were there and now here's Mary Higgins Clark, Wonderful, Excellent these words are not appropriate for Mary 🙏🙂
The worried friend looked like she's had Constipation
😂😂
whew! it's funny how certain looks and attitudes some in and out of style... that actresses bad lip implants and breathless stare were a thing, also the oprah knock-off, lol.
Was beginning to think I was the only one who noticed the bad lip job
Listen to Mary Higgins Clark and hee descendants This woman can writeeee GOD get the glory for his knowledge
Does anyone know who sings the song at the beginning of the movie? Thank you!
You don,t want to go out dancing with that one.
Great movie! Wow! Tyvm
MHC, the best !
Movie not too bad
I’m towards the end now 😂I still don’t know who the killer is🤣🤣🤣
I knew it!
Looks like a good movie if I could hear it
I'm so sorry! Why don't you turn the captions on?
Top right corner of the screen. Click on the three dots. Choose Caption and English. Done! Enjoy the movie now. 😊
Anna Markham-Roberts Yes, the sound level is rather low.
I like the movie but I find erring friend odd and a poor actor she's 😕 had to much botox looks so false, also why is she getting around with the 👮♂️ anyone would think she was a 🕵️♀️ detective and I'm dam sure 8n real life cops don't have friends or relatives joining them in investigations. Her whole being puts me off the movie a bit.
I agree Patsy Kensit's face looked wooden and acting was the same.Too much Botox!
I wonder if that's really his voice.
Beautiful gorgeous woman
❤️❤️❤️
You know thet Higgins is a relative of Agatha Christie 😱
Lousy acting, so so movie. Worth watching.
Thanks for posting
I guessed it.
Yeah, I've always thought of him as, I don't know, creepy -though this is the first time I've seen him in the role of a serial killer.
@@Southamericangirl42 Can anyone tell me the name of the song at the beginning of the movie? Maybe at least who's singing it?
Sound is absent
Figured it out early on
Que paso Ralle porque ya no en español???
Well if you don't want to listen, well expect to get hurt
Why sucha cheap fake ring..?😳☺
Wow. First thing I would have done is take off those damn dancing shoes, at the end. Why didn't Darcy?
😊
If the parents got the boxes by mail, the the police need to go to the Post Office based on the mail stamp code. Somebody must have seen something suspicious. The guy lives in a neighbourhood and has neighbours. The killer parents must have some clue about their mentally ill son.
There is nothing more of a turn-off than Butox lips.
It takes a Botox pe--s for botox lips hahaha 😁.
Who made that rule that you must wait 48 hours to file a missing person report???
That must have been a serial killer as the person you can’t find would have been dead in less than 24 hours.
Nobody goes to the police if it wasn’t real and no one call 911 unless it’s real.
Who really wants to be missing?? dead??? kidnapped??? tortured?? abuse??? raped??? assaulted??? battered???
Nobody, even if they are suicidal or don’t like where they live, what they do or who they are with or see daily. COME ON !!!
It was a bad date he put her in the freezer.
Honeymoon with my mother - in law
Mr. Jeckle is having a bad day
.
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
Bad script for a good story
YANNEK BESSON WAS USE TO BE A GOOD COP BEFORE A KILLER IN MADE ME FEEL FUNNY INSIDE BECAUSE I WATCH ALL HIS SHOW BEFORE BUT THE MOVIE WAS REALLY GOOD THANK YOU SO MUCH
Why do you have to spoil the suspense ?
@@symphonyj2429 Why do you read the comments before watching the movie? That way nobody can spoil it for you, see?
!!!
Not going to say who it is 🤣🤣
Brooklyn, NK, Watchtower Society, on the River
i hate the bad guy's psycho rants, sound so contrived.
Sorry - this one was way too easy to figure out. I imagine the book was probably a little better. The acting was awful.
Compared to Agatha, just a pattern novel,, boring!
Who did the casting in this movie? Blah.
Keep waiting for someone to maybe save it.
But Nope! Stupid movie with very poor acting.
The actor that plays the perp is lousy, real fake!
Terrible film....rubbish topic.
I agree! The moniker was a dead give away!
Sheri Stewart No, the opening credits were. When I saw the actor's name, I knew 'who dun it'.
It's alot better than that 'Cuties' or any false "woke" BS
