Straight up sounds like the 5.7 for sure without the cams, you couldn’t tell if this was 6 or v8 . I love it! Just bought a charger with a 2.7 for a project.
My car gets mistaken for a v8 and I only have a muffler delete, and reso delete

@@mpetersen6 3.5L is bad for sludging also - people recommend you change the oil every 3000 over the 7500 that Dodge recommends. PCV valves go bad every 30K miles too.

Even though the O2s have the engine running in a rough state, it actually sounds pretty damn good. Can't wait to get my 3.5 swapped dune truck running.

I had a dodge intrepid with that motor I turboed mine. the platform under the magnum is the same as the dodge intrepid just real wheel drive

Did you use the 4.0 short block? That would be so much easier than grinding main bearing caps. My 3.5 is getting tired and I would like to do something like this. The engine has been great to me
My 3.5l 300 has 183000 miles and runs great!. I e replaced the waterpump and the timing chain. Other than that just basic maintenance. I wanna add a cold air intake and dual exhaust

Sounds like your stuck in open loop!.
Ect must be checked and AF ratio.
One bank isn't open looping with the other.
Check map pressure or gasket leaks

I have the 07 sxt 3.5 same headers high flow cats with duals h pipe and dual chamber super 10 Flowmaster single nozzle dry 100 hp shot nitrous and single turbo running around 4 lbs right now because I'm waiting to get my custom tune for my trinity t2 . haven't done anything internal but do want to do cam. I just ordered cams from inertia Motorsport for my 3.5l challenger. Anything you would recommend I change while I’m swapping out the cams? Rocker arms or anything. I’m also replacing head gaskets, head bolts, cam seals. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Timing belt kit, rear camshaft gaskets there triangle in shape and rocker arms if yours has more than 100,000 miles on it
@@RacingRamFam I got the cams installed and I also installed some refurbished rocker arms. I think the rocker arms that I got are bad because I am hearing a lot of noise kinda like a Diesel engine. Do you think that could have something to do with the cams? Thanks for any help

on the 3.5 intake where the power brake booster vacuum line plugs in, there is a smaller vacuum port. My vacuum line is broken off there and I don't know where it goes to. Do you know?
What year was the dodge nitro you took out the parts from?
Have you considered an olds/pontiac 3800 supercharger for it ?

Yes it’s the same engine in a 300m and would work. And it’s the pistons and rods and crankshaft out of the 4.0l v6 engine

The 3.2 is actually a Mercedes Benz engine.

What code reader are you using?
It an OTC Genysis EVO. There are several versions. You only want 3.0 or higher. Probably newer versions s out now. They are very slow to load, like 5 minutes. Then if you shut them off wrong, it take take 30 minutes to restart them. If you want live stream data, most any newer better quality scanner has that capability. There are phone apps with external dongles that will do the same thing for a reasonable cost.

Its the Piston out of the 4.0L junkyard engine out of a Dodge caravan RT..., Absolutely Brilliant.

I'm a OG Mechanic from DETROIT...I done over ten 4.0 swapps....10years ago....I could OUT RUN the 3.6 5spd 2011-12 all day....SO MUCH BOTTOM END TORQUE DOWN LOW
