loved this demonstration of excellent wall jumps from both players. i recently added the wall jump to my arsenal and ive been spending hours in the range to perfect it, and my success rate is getting higher👍🏾
Movement techs overall (at least in my opinion) should be used in game as natural habit and never should even be thought to be done. Your hands should naturally do movement the more you practice in the range. It’s as basic as you make it. What’s your first instinct when you see somebody within fighting range? Shoot them of course, you don’t think about whether you fight or not it’s a clean 1v1 so you want to pull the damage first and fir most. Same thing applies to wall jumps, tap strafes, slide shots, etc. Well practiced players don’t even think about their moves while the actions are already happen it’s 2nd nature
Important to point out that his wall jump was a slide jump to wall bounce while yours was not. The only way you can wall bounce there is because of the jump fatigue you created by jumping to cover first. If you had run to cover, the wall bounce there would not have worked. Fatigue jump to wall bounce is not known that much. Just wanted to point it out.
I've applied very few basic tips you've suggested and my game play has improved 100% . Actually got called a smurf the other night when I 1v3 a team. Using your strafing methods and luring enemies out in the open. You're a God walking amongst mere mortals.
Me outside of combat: all the movement techs, zooming around and bouncing off everything Me in combat: standing out in the open, only doing basic AD strafing with no cover
my question would be: how to practice to get the timing when setting up a fatigue wall jump, since I did notice that you used a fatigue wall jump here rather than a regular wall jump.
you want to time your jump so your legend makes contact with the wall after you've reached peak height mid-jump. obviously, when you jump up, you fall down, you don't want to touch the wall on the jump up, that's for sliding wall jumps. fatigue jumps and wall bounces you'll want to come into contact with the wall on the fall down, but not too far down. if you time it too late you're just a walking care package
I've a question. I have perfect sliding walljumps but when i walljump without the slide, instead of giving me an upward boost it throws me downwards instead. ive searched a couple of reddit posts and videos but couldn't find the answer to it. can someone help?
Without a slide you have to hit the wall when you're falling from your jump, so you have to do it from a bit further away compared to sliding. You want to hit the wall after you've reached the peak of your jump
@@onepod WRONG. Doing that will not give you nearly close to the bounce he got there. What he did is called a fatigue jump. If you jump once before jumping to the wall, you build fatigue in your jump. For some reason, when you have fatigue on, you can jump to a wall and wall bounce exactly as you would normally, but without needing to slide. In the clip, you can see that he jumps to cover, not run to cover. His first jump to cover built fatigue, so he could perform the jump to wall bounce for reload after.
@Lt-Kregorov what I said wasn't wrong, if you want to wallbounce from standing without a slide that's how you do it. For example, if you want to 180 wallbounce out of a ghost strafe you need to do a wallbounce from standing which yeah you need to be falling from the peak of your jump, and you wouldn't fatigue bounce to do that because it's slower and you don't have time to do a jump first to get the fatigue. Fatigue bouncing is another technique to wallbounce without a slide, and also having done both I'm pretty sure a fatigue bounce gives you more height but not as much distance, so I don't think you would go way further with a fatigue bounce than with a standing wallbounce but I'd have to check again to be 100% sure
I like how you explained the clip but the pros would just not miss the one clip when he first pushed lol or just reload and not miss the second clip lol
It took me 11 seasons to take wall jumping seriously. Took me 8 just to learn how to. They rarely work out in the moment for me, but more than a few times I've actually managed to almost 1 clip someone midair off a wall jump. I died every time but it looked cool. I shoulda just played my position better and healed. But once you're wall bouncing in the heat of a battle, the balls to the walls mindset is tough to break out of and play slower.
Thing about wall jumping is that you have to have a throw mentality, instead of firing back, you're trying to pull off a stunt to disorient a player. Normally this is not something you'd want to do because it will not work if they already have shots in on you. This stuff usually happens in 3v1 scenario where they don't care if 1 of them goes down trying to rush you. It isn't csgo where you can drop the whole squad in seconds.
Those tapstrafes at the end where you basically neo strafe without having to move your crosshair at all is cheating. Configs that remove physical inputs are cheating.
@@xXTheBigMatt94xX that’s from his own mouth, we don’t have any official confirmation from Respawn that it’s true. It should be considered cheating because tapstrafe is the only advantage MnK gets over controller. It is COMPLETELY BUSTED to have both aim assist and auto-tape strafe via configs
