Alan may be my spiritual dad. As a kid, I read about old stuff and enjoyed old cars. He is really cool.

In 1980, a friend and I went to the only Rolls-Royce dealership in the state to look at "The Silver Ghost" that was on display in their showroom. When we arrived, they were about to drive it out to put in the trailer. The driver/cartaker asked us if we would like to ride out. Later that month at the Rolls-Royce Owner's Club meet in Newport, my wife and I saw AX 201 drive off the field. As we were staring at it, it approached us and stopped. The driver said, "Get in."

Your channel is a new discovery for me and it’s great. I also own and drive a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. These are incredible cars. And I drive mine every day.

I drive a 1930 Ford Model A, the opposite end of the spectrum from the Rolls Royce. It’s not quiet, though it does ride smoothly, but it’s rather cramped inside for a modern person. Anyway, lots of fun and you make friends everywhere you go.

The Model A is a great option as an affordable, dependable prewar car. I have a '31 Roadster myself (check out my other videos for more on that car). They are indeed cramped, but still lots of fun. Thanks for watching.

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-(
In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!
