  • *Headphones as ever!*... The signature sound of Nile Rodgers & Bernard Edwards drives this number by Fonzi Thornton, who was a key backing vocalist through Chic's late '70's period & later on many Rodgers/Edwards productions, before venturing into solo work & collaborations with the likes of Luther Vandross, Roxy Music & others. I've not played a note-for-note replication (as always!) but instead my interpretation in the spirit of Bernard's original line. Recorded here with Musicman Stingray Classic and Thomastik Jazz flatwounds, via a Boss GT-1B.

I absolutely love this song, well not particularly the song itself as it’s a little repetitious, but the music is brilliant!! Thanks a lot Ian😊
