This is AMAZING! So very, very well said...and a great digest of comments I've heard from *MANY* students (take solace-- you are NOT the only person who failed the first time, and who has said how awful the wording on the test is). So great to hear you passed-- congrats, and welcome to the club!

    Thanks for the great info
I heard from many folks who tried CSSP and CISSP exams that it seems like they twist sentences and use unusual word to confuse
For me it is an English language exam in addition to Technical exam

I have experience with the CSSLP and I think it's a similar situation. You get a sheet of paper after the test, whether you pass or not. You will not get a score but you'll get a list of all domains and they are listed in the order you did most poorly on. One thing that needs to be pointed out is that ISC2 emphasizes professional experience in these domains because you'll get questions that you really cannot study for. No matter how hard you study, there will be at least 10 scenario-based questions.
Like the poster, I also experienced difficulty with the wording of the questions. Often you'll be in a situation where two of the answers could be correct, but you have to pick the one that is BEST. Another thing that will throw you off guard is that you cannot go back to questions once you've answered them. I believe you should be able to do this.
All questions will only have one answer, but it must be the BEST answer. Since you have a lot of time allotted for the test, I recommend you max use of this time. Make sure you read the question in its entirety. You may be tempted to quickly peruse the answers and skim over the question. If you're confident, it should take you 15-30 seconds to answer those. For those you are less confident on, take a full 90 seconds, read the question twice, read the answers. Normally you can quickly rule out two of them. And then select the one that applies for that scenario.

I remember being totally prepared for this test. When I got started, I quickly realized there were more common knowledge questions related to the CISSP or the CBK. I haven't retried yet, but i'm planning on it.. i may take the CISSP first tho.

@@CloudSecurityPodcast Thanks a lot! What is the most important in consideration for CCSP, after passing CISSP?

    • @johanp3558
      @johanp3558 Před 2 lety +1

Hi DVO - I would say the most important thing is to understanding the different service models and deployment models. This is often the premise to a lot of the difficult questions, so make sure you fully understand that.
If you’ve already passed the CISSP, you're knowledgeable of a lot of the underlying principles the exam assumes you know.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

They should offer at least 1 retake with the price being $600. There's no guarantee for getting any jobs so the price shouldn't be so high.

I failed an attempt at this exam and as for English being your second language, the questions are badly worded to a native speaker also 😂 your English is perfect though.
Congratulations on passing, personally I chose never to sit another ISC2 exam again, the questions are often badly worded, answers aren't always what anyone with practical experience would agree with and the whole membership scheme is ridiculous to me. I took CCSK, which I found the content far better and there's no membership fees/renewal to worry about. It may not be regarded as highly but it hasn't held me back professionally.

I take this test on Thursday, thank you for the video!! Very helpful. I have been using the app and Mike Chappell's LinkedIn learning course. Did you find the questions are much more difficult than the app? A lot of those questions seem too easy. I hope to return to your video this week and letting you know I passed!!

Hi, I have experience in network security ( enterprise firewalls) and little experience in cloud. I have few queries.
    # With little experience in cloud, can I still go for this exam and be successful if I prepare much?
    # Is there a prerequisite to have some experience in cloud to gain this certification?
    Thanks,
