I did a power wash of a tennis court (it had so much crap on it, was not funny) and surrounding area that was very satisfying in Real life (took 3 days) looked like new once I was finished, so figured the game would be the same but just could not bring myself to buy it.

This is going to sound silly but I wish there were more physics of washing dirt off of surfaces cause seeing it fly off is one of the most satisfying parts of power washing
Or get a nice peel of a crusty slice to wrap and deform and curl on itself and the power of the wash pushes and helps glide the grime off.. mmm
Or a hard mode, where you have to plan the dirty water run-off, so you don't dirty up what you've already cleaned.
They had to leave themselves something for us to look forward to in a sequel.

It's a little surprising, because he just used that "Simulator games make my eyes glaze over" line recently, but I'm not that shocked. Pikamee played this a little while ago and she seemed to be having fun, and Jon from MATN played Lawn Mower Simulator and had a great time, and he and Ralph seem to have similar tastes.
Skill up: i am not sure if i can review "heavily requested game". There are so many games.

This game is how you introduce someone to fps videogames. It's zen like and satisfying, in a way that non gamers will get. It has fps mechanics, while having clear feedback for successful aiming and zero time pressure. Your SO can play, practicing how to move and aim. Than BOOM you get them a destiny account. Fucking gottem.

I can tell you they're working on a UE4-remake, though, which you might know, but it might get a bit of a new chance.

This game has taken over my friend group over the past year or so.
It's incredibly low stakes, hits the satisfaction that you get from cleaning, has *really* nice water sounds, and lore (?!).
It's a really good game for lots of people, but especially those who want to chill out.

Yeah, Shill Up alludes to it a bit in the video but there is a light narrative that gets told if you pay enough attention.

@@TheSkaOreo oh yes, I haven't fully cracked it yet, but that mayors cat is definitely up to something, he keeps emailing me saying its missing and I keep seeing its paw prints at jobs I am on. I suspect its responsible for the ash coming from the volcano, i just have to find a way to prove it.

I actually work for a company that handles concrete resurfacing, it’s hilarious to see part of our industry’s work being made into a video game. 😂
They need to add surfaces that SHOULDNT be sprayed as well, because that happens.
You can damage nice new stuff by going overboard.
Also… adding gravel, power washing near loose stone can kick up rocks at high speed that crack glass or scratch other surfaces. Would be good to make players consider “directional” cleaning for added depth.
They can even add coatings, like epoxy and paints to seal stuff after cleaning it.
They should consult with me, I have about 50 real life situations they’d find relevant to their game. 😂😂😂

I wanna see some water physics where you can see the nasty amount of dirt the water washes out, and so you can direct (read: play) them away from the cleaner surfaces... (￣﹃￣)
Warhammer creeping into Power Wash Simulator is what I needed this morning.
What this game does is it gives the feeling of when you get to clean something and not when you have to. It’s like when you played with the hose as a kid and you would spray things that were dirty just for fun. You weren’t told to go out there and clean something so it didn’t matter if it got cleaned or not. You were just having fun. That’s what this game is.
I’d clean something with the hose as a 30 second distraction and curiosity. I wouldn’t walk outside and turn the hose on just so that I can water the driveway and watch the patterns.
That’s how pointless this game is. It’s people CHOOSING to water their already clean driveways just to watch the water patterns, over choosing to do ANYTHING else of their choosing.
Unexpected, but appreciative.

Most simulator games are meant for chilled gaming sessions and that’s why I like them. This, House Flipper, Farming Simulator, etc
when I bought this I was like .. I'll just refund it in a couple hours and that's that.... 100 hours in now and I still come back to replay it. sooo satisfying. love this game!!
Power wash sim rules! So glad you gave it a chance. The only thing I'm upset about is you didn't mention the time lapse video at the end of each level. Best part of the game hands down.
These developers created one of my favorite games of all time, Velocity 2X, and so I've been meaning to play this, even if it is a massive departure from everything else.
Used to power wash in the summer school break, it was very satisfying.
This game gives me heavy Visera Cleanup Detail vibes and I love it. Games that don't require your brain are very chill and if you have friends to talk with or something to watch/listen while playing those game, you will have a very fulfilling moment.
This game is such a gem. Legitimately, like, no joke. This game is truly wonderful!

I remember describing this game on my review as a campfire where friends get to chat about life while they blast dirt with water pressure.
I absolutely love this game. It's the most satisfying game I've ever played, you can play with friends and get some good coop action, and it's the perfect game to chat with friends in discord or listen to a long playlist or a new album that just released. 10/10 game, and the devs are great too. Plenty of content updates throughout the early access period, crystal clear communication with the community, and very passionate about their work
The best part about this review is that it's actually convinced me to download it on game pass and play it.
Please have expansions to this, its a goldmine

In the settings you can change the abient sound volume, reverb, and tone! My autism is greatful.
I've been wanting to play it for about a year now, the only thing I noticed that they didn't get right is that there is no water accumulation on the floor to take care of. That's actually one of the key things with power washing in real life, you have to 'push' the dirty water down the hill, or towards a drain. But in this game the water just disappears, so it's kinda lame in that respect. Still wanna play it though.

I'm excited for this to hit PS4. I've been playing a lot of Lawn Mowing Simulator lately. It's got that same thing with satisfaction at completing a job. Especially when you get into the striping parts, where you not only have to mow, but you gotta mow stripes right, too.
I absolutely love this game. i have been playing since the start of early access and i can't get enough of it. it's so satisfying when you complete a job that you can't wait to get on the next job

I used to be a service technician for a small ma & pa pool company and we vacuumed up the scummiest pools multiple times a day in all kinds of weather. The amount of satisfaction from making them sparkle again was almost worth the garbage pay and 10 hour days
I love using my power washer. It’s super satisfying. Those little streaks of clean on a dirty surface are very zen.
First level was nice and relaxing, as levels went on, I’m like, damn that’s a lot of shit, I want to clean it all now asap… then became stressful… no, I have no chill. 😂

This one has been on my wish list for a little while now. Just wasn't sure if I was ready yet.
Not just the satisfaction of a good clean, but also the ease of not having to deal with the post clean-up clean-up.
I feel like I just got a peek into a side of SkillUp I was not prepared for...
definitely give me a shock. I hope Ralph didn't have to do too many voiceovers for adult content untill the CZcams channel picked up steam .

I like these type of games where you can "habit stack" by performing your regular practise of playing videos games whilst pairing it with listening to an audiobook. One of my favourite videos games to do this is SnowRunner. I like the idea of PowerWash Simulator and may pick it up once it goes on sale. Great review by the way!

This looks oddly awesome. I think Hardspace Shipbreaker awakened my interests in those game premises that sound dull but relaxing and satisfying in practice.
As someone who recently powerwashed thier concrete clean of raingrime, this is.. my jam. Also Mech Mechanic Simulator, because big robots!

Cleaning games are a much needed genre. Legit the first game I bought when I built my PC a year ago was Vicersa cleanup. Put tons of hours in it, I enjoy cleaning, and a game that combines having a monotonous job in the midst of a amazing futuristic or medieval setting is always fun.
I didn't expect that, but i'm glad tho, keep it going Ralph!
