Taival Outdoors is a channel about the great outdoors: everything from multi-day wilderness backpacking to day hikes and overnight adventures. I also make outdoor gear reviews based on extensive testing and experiences from camping all year round. On many of my videos you'll also see my dog, Rokka the Alaskan Malamute, who has proven to be a great companion in the backcountry. Thanks for watching!

Those TF rations are quite good compared other TMs. Finnish Leader, Reiter and some X-something? I'll pass by. Orange/green norwegian and Summit to eat TMs are one of favorits, also. But all and all, specially in winter - normal homemade food. The Best.

I tend to agree. Those ones taste best that have natural ingredients and no "fillers". And the rest all basically taste like each other, regardless of what it says on the package. And I've tried maybe 7 brands so far over the years, so I think I've gotten a some idea. I tend to supplement freeze-dried meals with home made dried meals as well, especially on longer trips just to get some more calories in.

@@TaivalOutdoors I agree. By the way, years ago i've even tried Russians "green bag". Those we have seen in Tube videos. In finnish I can say "hirveää schaissea"!
