Not used to seeing Paul walk, a first😅.
😂
I'd like to see the Subaru Outback go up, also maybe a Hilux or Ranger varying tyres, HT, AT, MT. To see what difference they make.
I want to try it in my Freelander 😂😂
Great suggestion, particularly about the Outback, because it seems to have a niche almost all to itself.
Subaru Outback 🤞
Would love to see a luxury large SUV comparison on light offroading, like the discovery, x7, gls etc.
I was thinking exactly this, maybe even X5, GLE too
I’d like to see the new Subaru Crosstrek go up those hills!
Instant like. I think log mountain 2.0 is missing the wet mud to make it slippery
Would love to see you test some AWD medium and large suv's offroad... test their "OFFROAD" capability.... like cx5, sorento and santa fe.... etc etc..... let's see what their AWD setup is like
Might be interesting to see the Humvee up against an ex Aus Army 110 and a Lada Niva for the LOLS
Hi PAUL.
To select low range in your M988 You will need to turn the engine off, and then restart after you select L4.
Cheers
I definitely second some of these other comments on wanting to see an Outback or Crosstrek climb the log mountain. Though if you re-test the Forester in another Medium SUV test then I'll be glad to see that too.
Please do a retest of the medium suv off-road test. Really want to know how the new X-Trail and CR-V fairs.
Please do a retest of the medium SUV cars and include all new variants but also. Include the Suburu Outback , Forrester and Crosstrek. Would really like to see which Suburu is the most capable off road?
Good thinking!
I want to see the machines that built the hill.
You should have stopped the H1 in the middle of the incline on the gravel and logs both, then started to go again to see whether there was any wheel spin.
Nau, would have to reinstall the logs. Nose stands belly and ass scraping to verify those claimed angles.
Yes medium suv test please
Man I come here for car reviews as I am looking but stay for any Humvee videos. Back in the day I always had a a dilemma, anti war but pro humvee. The original is the best and what a story it was to get it to Australia.
I'd be great if you repeat those challenges again,I really love to watch them
Would love to see the Ranger BiTurbo. Thank you Paul for these always great vids. Cheerz from Germany
I actually just want to see a FWD ecobox get up there..... 😁
Mate that would get you to NZ if you could hold your breath she’s a beauty.
😂
Redo the medium suv test please
Wonderful to see the Hummer in action! And didn't it make the "challenge" look easy. In response to your question, I'd love to see how the current best-of-breed of passenger off-road vehicles do against the Humvee, just out of interest. I'd also like to see how the medium SUVs do going up the hill - though I wouldn't include the failures from the last test though - what would be the point? I'd also like to see how the Outlander PHEV and other electric vehicles with (a degree of) off-road ability perform.
Would it be harder to go up the middle and have two wheel on the wood and two wheel not in the wood?
Yes! Great idea.
Defender 110
Paul - you’ve got to test the new 2024 Silverado 2500HD - GMSV is so close to putting them on sale!! Also would be great to see an Expedition truck like the Isuzu NPS 75-155 give it a crack! cheers mate
Cool mate, chuck the new 79 series up it aswell, ive got one coming very soon, you can borrow it if you like ha, mate what engine is in that humvee, sounds amazing. Cheers 🍻
Make that same hill, but one made of sand, one made of rocks and one made of mud. Then for safety, so to avoid jack knife test vehicles with a trailer only going up hill on those surfaces.
Drive a Jimny up there!!!! Or, get a viewers' Jimny in for some testing! 😁
I would love to see the new Dmax xterrain
Drove a armoured hummer around a prison perimeter for a couple of years 🤪 spent more down time than up .
I would like to see a parking-at-the-shops test. USA vs the rest of the world.
I want to see Light and Small SUVs have a crack at the logs.
The HMMWV is designed to climb a 60% grade which is about 35°.
Love yah Paul but where is my Monday Podcast😭😭?
Paul I’ve got a vu Ute with 520000 ks that would get up that hill cheers oh and a trx and raptor
How about a kluger for off road
He Paul, the Neerim South men's shed is doing up a humvee similar to your vehicle, any chance you could do a road trip in yours to check it out, I have no alliance to the shed in anyway, just letting you know, take care mate
PS it's near Warragul
Like to see how the new outlander phev goes up it
Would love to see more videos of the Humvee but bloody hell it's noisy. And obviously working the transfer case is a bit of an operation
Wow. The hill works.
Subaru.
You're a funny man.
Dual-cab ute comparison. With all the utes having the same tires.
The incline test only tests traction and weight, perhaps some advanced traction control differences.
It does not really have much practical real world use..
Articulation and slippery hill testing as you already do are great comparisons. No need to change whats not broken in your format.
Give a Defender 110 a try
I would love to see how the the hummer H2 ute handle the challenge
I am very sure only the best offloads will pass the log mountain
I know the location being used & who used to own & test there. But who or what company owns it now??
My VW Touareg would go up that hill. 😊
Tank 300 hybrid please.
Test a pogo stick on the hill.
Please drive GWM Cannon ute here
Top selling utes like hilux and ranger. And top selling 7 seaters like prado and everest, pajero sport,Fortuner and Mux are to be tested in new log mountain
❤❤❤
Seems too easy. Maybe add a technical part with some articulation/traction challenges
That’s the plan for the left side of the hill.
AMG G wagon going up the right side at over 100km/h
Subaru Forester
Hilux rogue please
G'day, I'm Freedom!..
New Lexus RX 450h+ ^^
How about a Kia EV6 or 9 for giggles
🤭 fb.watch/oidFT7M7DX/?mibextid=cr9u03
I want to see you take that H1 proper off road like extreme people drive them up vertical walls,, take the thing to hell and bring us for the drive.
Bt50/dmax
My Ford transit could do that looks far to easy
Jimny
Noice
Fiat Panda 4x4
First from Bangladesh
😂
And now? What was that? That's not a challenge for the Humvee. And the slope? Well, more trunks, they should look further out and lie more irregularly. It should also be a little steeper.
🤦♂️
