Absolutely brilliant Mark I was thinking of doing something along the Same lines but I love the nice simple design wheby as you said having the ease of being able to detach the router and without loosing any of the depth adjustment if the router was mounted onto a piece of MDF. Thanks again for sharing your idea 👍
Could've used that today cutting v-groove into MDF, would've saved me going back with filler where I wasn't paying attention 🤬 looks like it works tho so good job👍
Just had a look at your channel on the recommendation of 'Rag n Bone Brown'. Triton make one of these for their router, which then connects to the saw track. It has a micro adjustment to it etc. I'm guessing that it might well fit the Festool track as well but im not sure of its compatibility with non Triton brand routers. Thanks for the videos. You have a good channel with lots of interesting stuff so a new subscriber.
great use of scraps small suggestion I would make is use 2 nylon screws on the router side of the connector so you can remove the wobble that will come from using it as you can adjust them to take up the gap like on the track saw to the rail
Ingenious! Thanks for putting this together and sharing your idea!
Thanks for watching 👍👍👍
Great idea, a lot less costly than a festool part
